The Son of Clay Jones sounds great, it's much darker than I was expecting. In a good way.

Nice wiring. Just make sure the tip springs dont touch the enclosure when it's plugged in. I did that once and it took way longer than it should have to figure it out ::)

Hi, I'm new here, and relatively new to building pedals. Here's the first thing I made which I deemed worth showing off although it's not nearly as impressive as most of the stuff I've seen on here... it's a hybrid Si/Ge fuzz (Si transistor with Ge diodes) kinda based on the Bazz Fuss, made with parts I scavenged from a vintage Yamaha mixing console and old radios. It has a JFET buffer in front of it that bumps the gain just slightly above unity... it's something that came up while I was screwing around breadboarding and it sounded nice, gives you that very silky sustained but sorta square wave-y fuzz sound. And if you switch to the neck pickup and roll the tone down a bit, you're in Clapton land. Sorry, no guts, it's a huge mess in there.

The artwork is an illustration I cut out from an old United Airlines inflight magazine. I added the dunce cap. Letters are just cut out from the same magazine... I couldn't afford to spend money on clearcoat or epoxy (I'm crazy broke right now, so even $5 is too much) so I covered everything in 4 coats of CA glue (aka superglue), the paper absorbed it and it dried solid like a plastic.

Anyway, I call it the Fuzz-O.
