Haha! Nah I picked those up at the local ReStore. I'm always on the prowl for random things to be used in my next build.

Just another Derange Master but HEAVILY relic'd  :icon_mrgreen:

I can't think of anything funny just yet.

Jimi burned guitars.....
Now burn your pedals  :icon_mrgreen:

I couldn't get the knob looking worn enough, so I set it on fire.... twice  :icon_twisted:
Same with the enclosure actually, it just...needed it...

I'm thinking of doing a small run of pedals that all look as if they have been forgotten

I can't think of anything funny just yet.

I've taken a torch to a few things that just never looked right to me.
Fire has a way of making you feel better about something, and often makes something
neat happen. Go slow and know when to stop.

I really enjoy your wisdom / process John!
I definitely think with fire / any 'relic' process, it's all about moderation AND variation.
Nothing looks sillier than uniform scratching or thought out burns etc
When something is worn and looks overdone, your eyes are instantly drawn towards 'patterns'.
I think to create a convincing look, randomising the process is best!  :icon_mrgreen:

I'm new here and posted this in the pictures forum but it was suggested I may want to post them here, so here goes; hope I'm doing it right:

Hybrid PNP Arbiter Fuzz Face. Some minor adjustments of my own and the LED is an RGB that is blue when the pedal has power, red when engaged and off when no power (aka input jack is empty):

The obligatory LM386 guitar amp. I built it from the original spec sheet + a few tweaks for stability etc.

Brymus

My latest build, and the first DIY project since being a regular poster here.
A 18 watt Plexi based on the Trinity Plexi MK II,its made from an old Crate Cr212,and sounds amazing!
I made the extension 2x12 cab first out of Birch ply,Jensen Jets,it sounds great now the Jets sounded bad in the MDF cab mounted from behind but in real wood mounted from front they sing.
What it looked like before the repurpose of the old Crate.
And an inside shot too.
I was originally building the Trinity V6 with 6V6's and EL84's but not enough heater winding amps to have both and tube rectifier :icon_sad:

Got around to finishing my FTM, and a Supersonic Fuzz Gun clone I want to run over with my car.

Wanna know what do you use for painting the Fuzz Gun... That paint is beautifull

I mean your method. I Allways use Etching but never found a god way or materials to paint the Etching

Hey Scewy, these boxes look gorgeous! I'm really intrigued about this "asphalt vanish" too. Do you use it as a masking fluid in which you draw your design?
anyways, they look really unique.

Taptation powered delay, custom made for this guy:

Nice!! I've been putting together a taptation sea urchin board lately..
Me too! I'm a good ways through the layout, and am trying tails switching, along with potentially using the PWM output for a synced tremolo option.

Got any sound clips of the JCM drive? Is it just based on the JCM 800?
