it looks more insulated than shielded to me... and probably there is a resistor hiding inside the "long black lug", isn't it?
very nice wireing anyway!

Shrink I guess. The right 'wire' looks like it has the LED current limiter resitor in it..

So here's a couple of my first projects.
A Marshall Guvnor Mk1, Modded for true bypass with upgraded jacks for input, output and dc, Clear bright green led in bezel added, and switchable clipping modes from silicon to leds (one of which is viewable). New knobs and paintjob for extra mojo lol.
My fav pedal by far, very flexible.

And my Rat with no tone knob, but switchable between two gain and level channels, switch a la Byoc.... more on that in the double rat post.
