Forget the Behringers, what about this in the background of one of the other images!
My kid looked at this picture and saw a lady with no mouth.   ;D

Just the stuff six-year-olds do.  Mom's with That Girl hair.  That sort of thing.   :)   They both see things I don't.  The other one saw this young lady at the mall and yelled out "A pineapple!!!!"

OK, sorry for the derail.  Back to the topic at hand.   :)

here's my last project:

it's a "multi-mini-effects" pedalboard and it features a toggle true bypass for
external effects (in send and return) between boosters and fuzzes and
ac/dc or battery power supplies.

i'll paint the naked wood and change the name stick
(the bottom view is when it's open!)

4 successful builds, 2 on the way.  Still trying to learn as much as I can.
GGG tube screamer *2, GGG ross compressor, and the GGG Crybaby replacement circuit.

With the unpainted wood on the ends its got a sort of moogerfooger look going on, I like it like that...

And are you powering all those from one 9v battery?

Just finished putting the "guts" into it's house.

From the looks of the pic, I could have used a shot of air;  dog hair on the footswitch terminals & dust all over the front.  Good thing dog hair doen't conduct.   :D

remmelt

Love the lama. One of my favourite distortions, and such a simple build! HUGE cap you got there, by the way!

remmel:

yeah, that cap is huge.

It was all I had on hand - I had to change the layout a bit to get it to fit.     :)

i'm building a llama tonight, i can't wait to hear it!

newbie builder

Love the llama, mutli-fx unit, and ts etch- three great looking builds!

I just built myself a llama too (enclosure is outside drying right now!) and I'm really liking it. Usually I'm a low gain kinda guy, but it has a sound that I really am digging for a kinda cutting medium gain thing. Really cool pedal, easy build.

Here are three more of mine, Java Boost, Easy face and Tonemender. The tone mender lettering looks a bit shit, I might redo it. I hadn't used the Iron Maiden font yet and was itching too. All done with transparencies printed on the inkjet printer and clearcoated.

I'm getting better at this but still have so much further to go. That means I will have to keep making DIY effects. Damn  :icon_mrgreen:

You all put so much time in the painting/etching job. But they all look great.
I'm going to try some enclosure etching too in the near future.
How did you paint the red Llama?

Hey, finally I'm joining the "pictures" community!! ;D ;D
yesterday I made these two, the BSIAB is still empty, I ran out of pots... I posted it anyway because I'm sure I'm gonna damage it by the end of the work...  :icon_frown: i'm a bit sloppy....

carrejans - I first sanded it down to 400 grit to get rid of any scratches.  Then, using a wire brush on a dremmel and wearing safety glasses - some bits of the brush fly off at 33K  :o - make a pattern or a random patter as I did.  Then I used Krylon Xmetals spray to give it that anodized look.  Then just finish up as normal (decals, clear coat, bake.......)
