I just finished a Phase 90. This is something I've wanted for years but never got around to getting for one reason or another.

My guess would be that he had a bunch of fets to test and he wrote down his reading on the fets so he could easily match them.

That looks really cool.... I really dig the way you did the large and small knob, very snazzy.

John does fantastic work.

Close! I numbered them 1 through 100 and typed the actual values into a spreadsheet.

Yeah, he does. I don't know what it's called, but the opaque white board he used on this one is really cool looking.

MOOI!!
Is there a blue led under the tube?

Bedankt, van waar ben je ergens?

There is a blue led between the pins of the tube. I had to drill in the plastic foot that holds the tube

Dat blauwe ledje maakt het af.
Btw, ik woon momenteel in Leuven.
Groeten...

Shakal

Don't do that!

Speak in english too!

PORRA!  ;)

red fuzz reduced to one knob. HIGHLY recommended fuzz. sounds great, and i built with a 741 which is a super cheap replacement for the 351 indicated in the project file.

Thanks. I will redo it though. I kinda hesitated, and did not do the full song with the nice solo  :-\

Your pedal looks good too, but isn't that a dangerous way to put your tube? I have to be careful not to stomp on mine.

@ Shakal, what does porra mean? Is it spanish? if so I should have known  :icon_redface:

Porra is a portuguese word (pronounced "Poh-Ha")...I know they use it a lot in Brazil...

literally it means "semen"...pardon my language...

it's used in the same way as that "F" word is in english

There's a word "porra" in spanish with two meanings to my knowledge:

1) A "porra" is like the cheers of the cheerleaders "Give me an A, give me a P..."  That's a "porra". (Well something like that :icon_redface:)
2) And when someone say "vete a la porra" it means like "go to hell"  :icon_twisted: or even worst :icon_eek:.

And of course what tdavid76 just posted about the portuguese word.

So you be the judge.

CG ;D

DWBH

Porra is a portuguese word.
But, it doesn't mean semen. It's like a softer way to say sh*t, or cr*p.

It's pronounced po-rra.

Marcos - Munky

It means semen too. But it's more used as s**t, c**p or f**k.

Mark Hammer

This leads me to believe that either a) Portugese is an extremely flexible language, b) there is considerable regional variation in how the expression is used, or c) Brazilians cannot tell the difference between a wide variety of bodily functions. ;D  I figure it's A or B.  Either that, or I have porra for brains.

DWBH

Lol.

Sim, nós os tugas achamos sempre palavras para dizer merda.
