Etienne, fantastic work, it wonderful to see projects both frankensteinian and designed attractively.  Did you use some kind of CAD program to lay it out and make the labeling match?

I'm guessing those are the 9mm pots small bear stocks as well as the little knobs steve got to go with them.  That's a lot of pots!  Probably $40 worth?  But why not?

Man, the laser engraved univibe is not tooo shabby either.

Great work. I love the sequencer thing. I have wanted to build a Vanishing point myself. But the idea of managing 10 or more pots has kept me from doing it.
Where did you get those knobs?

thankfully, the pots and leds are wired together and the pots daisychained, so aside from little jumpers, there are only 16 wires + 1.
knobs are from smallbear. last page of knobs if memory serves.

thanks! I did actually. I did it in max (which i'm already quite familiar with from work). the labeling was just photoshop. the pots are regular size, by the measurments I took, there was about a third of a millimeter space between them!

my version of the Ibanez Standard Fuzz. Text plate and knobs are the remains of an old beat up Wau Wau Fuzz. Lacquer was supposed to be more transparent, but I still like it.

Massive thanks to darron for painting and laser engraving this enclosure. You rock!  :icon_cool:

The orange wire floating in there is a +15v tap off the regulator output to power the LEDs, which have yet to be wired up. The light shroud is off because I blew my last spare bulb :'(

Great to finally have this in an enclosure after months of it sitting completed and working, but in a box on my shelf.

Say Andrew, where did you get the board for that project?
Thanks,
B.

Zedmin_fx

I know I am not andrew but that pcb is the one from ggg its very friggin nice for $14 i think it was

No Kidding!
I've always wanted to build me a real Uni-vibe and with a board like that available, there's no more excuses.
Thanks,
B.

Did the original use such a large transformer? What voltage does it run at?
