WOW, I just love the last pedals you posted...
Rusty pedal, simple but good idea!
YoriCk, the painting on your pedal is absolutely  :icon_eek: - GREAT JOB - btw how are the two circuits togheter soundwise???
And those boogeys...Well...Thay are both great, love the racing stripes...

My next pedals will feature more graphics...I love flames, skulls and whatsoever...just putting togheter a couple I'll post in some days...

It's a decal. I made the design and a friend of mine executed it with photoshop. It sounds pretty good. Tonewise I prefer my BoR clone to the BSIAB, but this is a very good pedal though.

You squeezed it into a 1590A - you insane fool!  :icon_mrgreen:

Well this... this is just silly... this can't fit in a 1590B... can it? And you're not even using SMD you mad man!

Uh, I thought you were so good at painting...Anyway thx for replying, Yorick!!! :icon_lol:

Introducing the Earth Tones Audio "Earth & Space Wah!"  Its beauty will make you want to burn all your boutique pedals, and its space-age construction will give you laser vision and ninja powers:

:P
Um, ...yeah.  I posted more pics in the "ugly pedals" thread.  Here: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=68976.msg552110#msg552110

Hmmm, ninja powers you say?

"Rusty"

John, is that a separate plate on top of the enclosure? I'm sitting here racking my brain trying to figure out how you rusted aluminum lol

I've been on a metal kick for a while now.
I've been meaning to make this style for over a year now.
It's just a rusty scrap metal piece I cut out.
No way to rust aluminum, oxidize for sure though.
Now If I could just find more knobs like this!

This doesn't compare to some of the amazing pedals on this post, but I'm proud of it because the paint is REALLY tough - I used engine enamel and baked it, and the only way I could scratch it was by digging a sharpened nail across it; a normal nail doesn't even scratch it. First time I've used a pink LED too. The LED is much pinker than my phone's camera shows, and the box is a much deeper blue. My phone's camera just seems to wash away all the colours

Thanks
Jonathan

LOL, I know, that's why i was confused  ;)

Those are nice knobs, as well. I need to do more dumpster diving for stuff like that.

Here's an updated pic of the TUA™ distortion I posted back on page 303:

As you can see, I got the DC jack on the side like I wanted -- and like many of you commented on. I also moved up the knobs, and applied my metallic black base coat. I'm finalizing the minimalist artwork now...

I call this FIREDRIVE!

It sounds like a zendrive with more balls! ;)

The other switch(right side)toggles between rhythm and solo. :)

Dragonfly

I just finished this design. Old school germanium fuzzyness !

HERE'S A SOUNDCLIP !!!

After I recorded the clip I made an adjustment to tune out just a "bit" of the low end...still beefy, but a bit more "punchy" !

I squeezed it into a 1590B, but in the future I think I'll use 125's, just so there's a bit more room.

 :o OMG!  wow!

how much?  ;D

I havent decided how much they'll be yet. You know me...I'll try to keep them affordable.   ;)

I just bought some transistors, so I'll be ok for a little while....

Nice, that is reassuring.
Well I'll be up for one it sounds amazing. (kudo's to your playing too!)

Were are you guys getting your nylon hookup wire?

kurtlives

Both Andy and I are using cloth covered wire. At least I think he is.

I get mine from Hoffman Amps.

Glad to see I'm not the only one into metallic paint...It gives some shine to the pedals...They look more professional to me
