ok dragonfly heres what you do build a fuzz circuit with trimmers for the controls and put together an small size proximity sensor switch circuit to turn it on and off  :D

no holes necessary  8)

That's a freaking awesome idea.  You just need wireless receiver/transmitter inside, to avoid the need for in/out jacks, and power it all with a small battery or some sort of microwave power source.   ;D I would buy one!  A stompbox with no holes, brilliant.

you could call it THE BOX  :o

Pandora's Box so you're sure nobody gonna check inside and clone it... ::)

"Bipolar Disorder":

12au7 tube tremolo, two speed controls, footswitch speed selection. It slowly ramps between the two speeds, a la Leslie. My own design.

or, to avoid the hassle of getting a wireless system in there, you could drill a tiny hole right at the bottom of the enclosure, run wires out of them to some 1/4 plugs (not sockets)

Hi everyone and thanks for your kind words!

It's correctly 'DABD'.

I'm currently working on a build report, containing schematics, soundclips, gut shots and mods. I've got a few inconsistencies to iron out between the breadboarded version and the final build - I used vintage tantalums on the breadboard, new ones in the build, and although they are the same value they act kinda different! . I will start a 'Bipolar Disorder' thread hopefully within the next week - though I'm going on holiday a week today, and I've got other stuff to do too! The guts look very similar to my last Valvecaster on page 292 of this thread: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=36392.5820

..............and the legs are the reason it takes me so long to finish each build. Every time I'm working away in the lab I get these damned legs photos bluetoothed to me from upstairs...............

Absolutely no debugging neccessary, feels so good     ;D

Rick, I'd like to know more about the double speed version you built and if there's a single speed too...Waitin' your build report topic!!! Nice build, it's gonna be a nice companion to our Valvies!!!  :icon_wink:
