I suggest we keep this thread for the pics and the other threads for other questions. Please post your question in the mentioned thread. Thanks.

Here's my latest work in progress, it's Mark Hammer's The Crank

here's another shot of it on top of what will hopefully be its new home. It's going to be a tight squeeze but it should fit.

F.V

Here's a few of my first completed pedal, well the first that been completely boxed up, and is now in a finished state.
Its a rehouse of two danelectro PB&J's, with expression outs for feedback and delay time, as well as a self oscillation mod, and a switchable extended delay time knob. Thanks to Colin at EA for his annotated schematic, and all his help during the debugging of it (damn dual sided pcb's).

And the obligatory Guts shot, it was a bit of a squeeze, but with careful measurement it all went in, the jacks being the hardest part to fit in. I taped off the boards that are floating about to stop anything shorting out after this.

I don't think i'm going to get the chance to paint this one, as i can really take it apart again, but i'd like to label the knobs somehow.
I've got a fair few projects on the go at the moment, get some photos of them up once they're done.

Congrats - like mentioned in the guitar-mag: "pure tube" AND "transparent"...

(didn`t mention there, what it reminded me a little of optix-wise, though....

post your pictures!

Left to right, Easyvibe, Easyface, Green Ringer, Rangemaster (pot is screwdriver adjust on right side.  I know the input and output are backwards....it was my first time doing PCB mount, and doing a sharpie layout)

my collection...minus the pipe bomb tremolo.  I gave that to a friend, and have my own on its way, at some point soon.  Also, my fetzer valve is not pictured.  Its being a recording preamp, near my computer :-D

I see you made a Green Ringer, was it a hard build? I'm brand new in this world and I'm looking to build a clean octave up pedal, no fuzz/overdrive.

that thing is a beast!!!
coolest thing ive seen in a while
ok
i made a random from total scratch 386 amp recently, plus a 8 ohm 2 x 6.5 open back cab (with shielded wire)
the amp clips (like an audio file does when its to loud) when the signal in is too loud
but its a good sound amp for clean stuff
the switch puts a 10uf cap bettween pins 1/8, makes the amp go nuts
there is also a crystal osc in there (between pins 3 and 4), i have no idea what it does, but what the hell

and work in progress, a slightly modded ruby amp

The Black Crayon: that post you quoted is from 2005, i havnt seen that guy on there since

for green ringer stuff, id probably look at this, most people build them off this

you can buy that as a kit too
or go to the layout gallery (in the menu above) and search the green ringer
some stuff might come up

I got a kick out of that too. I can just image R.G. groaning if he read that. :icon_lol:

I had came up with the idea a few months before I saw the iMP. I chuckled when I saw the iMP for the first time. Bastard stole my idea but I guess he gets bragging rights. ;) I wonder how much the iMP weighs with those transformers ?

F.V: I love it! :) I have a PB&J that I was going to rehouse as well with mods. Great to see someone else doing the same.

Here is my vibrato/tremolo pedal.   I am not happy with the wiring inside.  next one i make I will hide the wires better.
Peace!

Why two DC jacks? Couldn't you wire both pedals to the same jack?

earthtonesaudio

I wondered the same thing...  ???

F.V

Yeah, i'm sure i can, but it was just a lack of foresight when i drilled out the box, and it allowed me to test out each side of the delay during debugging easily. i expect i'll remove one in the future and use the gap for another knob, probably a dry volume control, or i could maybe do another jack-out for a switchable hold. so many possibilities, so little box to fit them in.

  Cool Vibetrem Arn C.
