I find it funny how I can have close to 1000 components, yet I never seem to have enough parts to make a project. :icon_eek:

my new wah, with The Whipple, panasonic low voltage and aluminium-polystyrene caps. Also i bought a handfull of 4.7u caps and picked one that had 4uF :). The tolerance helps a lot here, haha. Not happy with Hot Potz II though, that one is gona be fired soon.

nice looking polysyrene caps. where did you get those?

Awesome again Etienne, amazing that someone has DIYed this, I wouldn't know where to start. But I have to ask again - when are you doing the filtering version? That's where things will get really interesting! :icon_eek:

This enclosure is custom made from a local metal-worker, in OCG's country (OCG and I live in the same city).

NOoooooooo!!!!    :icon_cry:

How much does he sell them for? Do you think he'll be willing to ship?

I was going to ask you to post those pics.

An old-school circuit Muff I made for a friend.  The dirty looking etch was not intended; it is by far my worst.  It was also touched up after the photo to help it a bit.  Etching since that has gone well again, though.

I love a good dirty etch though! that's the whole aesthetic appeal for me. Looks great to me, the lettering came out nice.
