Nah, was listening to Smashing Pumpkins - Bodies.

I find this Rat very responsive and dynamic. The part choices really brought out the clarity and dynamics I feel. When switching to soft clipping the pedal is almost kinda an overdrive. Really neat.

Excellent pedals Chris. Try different transistors with the HWY89. If you mix and match transistors of different gain, the pedal will re-invent itself, and the result is so pleasing. It's like the lower the gain, the less distortion, but the tone gets more dimension and body. So find your compromise between the two.

Kind regards, Jake

Looks really nice Sue.
How did you attach the image to the pedal, what kind of paper is it?

The Big Dirty:
This is another Doug Hammond design, Highway 89. It's supposed to emulate the DrZ Route 66. It's a solid pedal, kinda high gain for me. Still need to experiment with it but it is a cool pedal.

Hey, kurtlives. Mind if I ask what font you used for "The Big Dirty"?

can we make a rule here or something against putting this stuff on your boxes?  some of us are at work!  if my manager walks by and there's freakin boobs on my screen i'm gonna have a hell of a time explaining exactly what my hobby is...

You're not suppose to work! I'll care more about explaining why i'm surfing the web instead of workin'... :P
I know, but the pedal i built does not boost...it just increases volume!

Same here--I reported it the day it was posted with a request for a NSFW disclaimer and a link to the photo, rather than an embedded posting--guess they're busy...

Either way, it's in the faq, and a friendly request coming from Americans in conservative workplaces...put whatever you want on your pedals, but please be considerate of those of us who can get in trouble for having it on our screens...

I don't get it.. browsing a stompbox forum is totally fine when you're at work and your manager walks by, but when there is one with on tiny bit of b00b showing it suddenly is a problem.. oh well, back to work  ;D

This has come up before, and it's been established that while most American forumites don't really care one way or the other, their bosses/spouses/significant others, etc do. Call it whatever you want, but it's something that isn't pleasant to deal with, which is why it's in the 'Read Before You Post' sticky.

Sorry guys, I didn't think there was enough of an issue here to cause trouble (a hand drawn mermaid with a tiny hint of nip slip??) , but problem solved, the pic is gone.

Thanks man, your consideration is definitely appreciated. Remember, it's no problem to post a link to it so everyone can see your handiwork--make sure it says NSFW :)

No! Don't let the censorship win.  :icon_evil: Just put the link instead with the mention ''NSFW disclaimer'' as jacobyjd suggest.
