Had fun with the battery theme on my last build, so decided to stick with it for this Germanium Fuzz kit.

And heres an amp I re-housed in an old vintage hotel telephone.

I had purchased the phone from an antique shop as I had heard the elements in old phones made for great blues harp microphones.

This turned out to be true in this case, at least.

Once I'd made the mic, I thought it would be good to use the shell of the old phone to house a small amp in, so I took the guts from an old  Marshall MS2 and housed them in the phone. I get a lot of noise from the amp, so I'll need to take a look at it when I get time, pretty happy with the way it looks though.

Man, I am BAD at adding pictures to posts.

Maybe this time?

You're posting links to an HTML page, rather than the image itself.  You can also your previous post to correct mistakes, so no need for multiple posts.

Nice pictures, btw!   :D

Palealien, either way, I'm glad I got to see a larger image of the Flying Bomb, because its a great looking build!

+1 how did you do the finish?

I finished a couple of delays this weekend! I also used waterslide decals for the first time and though not perfect, I'm loving it! The top one is a multiplex echo machine from 1776 effects. I highly recommend building this delay!!! I added a modulation board as well. The second is a rebote on vero I built for a friend.

Thanks for the feedback/advice guys.

I can't take credit for the flying bomb design, as I stole it from am old 9v battery, It does look cool on the pedal though, I think.

Stallik, the box is etch primed twice, sprayed with 3 enamel top coats, waterslide decal for the artwork, then finished with a brush on clear satin acrylic, also 3 coats.

The finish isn't completely smooth due to the brush on finish, think I'll use the spray on clear satin lacquer I use for my water slide decals to finish my next project. I suspect I'll need to do quite a few coats with the spray on Lacquer to get a good strong finish. Hopefully it'll be worth the extra effort.

First non-kit build, very common circuit but kind of a weird enclosure...Bazz Fuss in an old plumb bob chalk line reel casing. It's closest to the original bazz fuss, with a 2N5089 rather than a darlington, put together point-to-point on some terminal strips using a bazz fuss terminal strip layout I found on this forum. Just a volume knob and footswitch.

EDIT: trying to embed the pictures this time, thought I had that figured out...

Gaussmarkov's version of Tim Escobedo TMK ("Too Many Knobs").
So killer. My favorite dirt/fuzz/noise build in a long time.

How about a short demo showing what it can do, I can't find one anywhere.

My cousin had one of my first diy pedals, and we decided to make a complete transformation!!

From color spray, sticker and a combination of delay + compressor, we move to a reveser-etched box filled with a delay (same one but using the great madbean pcb) and an overdrive of his election.

Here I bring you the Bre Bass pedal!!

The text means something like "why you turn it over silly?"... it is what my cousin chose  ::)

I've packed my studio up to relocate it, all music & DIY stuff in boxes, so I can't make a demo at the moment, will try to put one together soon!
