Ben - Nice wiring!

Mac Walker

This is an ersatz verben/crap fi variant, I added a negistor oscillator LFO to modulate the delay time.  Tried to mount the 9 mm pots directly to the vero, they would not hold torque and twisted pretty badly, so they ended up getting wired off board....

Going to try the emitter follower buffer trick next to get better control of the mix, without any high frequency loss.

Thanks peterg!
And Mac- I don't know what that does but it sure looks cool! I love those enclosures you got linked up to there... especially the gold and grey wedges  8)

Finally got around to painting my octave fuzz creation. Little extra length of wire in this one due to the fact that, at the time, I didn't yet have my handy Hook-Up-Inator

extra points for the shaped board, ben.

Nice one feddozz! Los Angeles Rams head?
Here's another Rangemaster treble booster, this time in a pre-painted white box, no need for labels because this one is for me. Got a 1966 Texas Instruments NPN Ge this time so I can have the power cord option. Same 3-way toggle switch as my last one for input capacitors, stock treble boost, less treble boost, and bass boost.

Given the place I come from and its menacing tone I was thinking about calling it "Horse's head"

Finished up this Madbean Kingslayer last week, needed a smaller Klone for my board

My first pedal!

Its a compressor made with lots of guidance from the schematics of mictester.

..... Aaaaannnnndddd....

I decided to add it some artwork so I cut it some stickers.  I might look into etching some day,  but not today.

Hey thanks!

I actually engrave with a Dremel, then color over the face with permanent paint marker, then sand back the paint so that the only thing left is the engraved area. Kinda like a chemical free etching.

Here's what I did over the weekend. It's a Skreddy Screwdriver clone and the layout is from Madbean. Sounds fantastic

(Here's a little gif I put together of populating the board. Couldn't get it to embed properly)

Here's something special I made for a friend. He thinks he's in need of a Fuzz pedal but unsure of which.

So built 6 (actually 7 but the Fuzzolo sounded dreadful to my ears) and put them in an old enclosure that once tried to be a true bypass looper.

It is supposed to work as a blind test: No info on silicon/germanium, no great names just Fuzzes 1-6.

The decal is a b/w photocopy and the holes are drilled by eye, so the labels are accidentally hidden by the knobs and the whole thing looks a bit shabby (and it all came down to a lot more work than I expected - although I should know better by now). When he decides on one, I'll put it in a nice etched enclosure (the boards are all designed for 1590a)

The Fuzzes are (I hope, he's not a member here): Peach Fuzz, Axis Face, Tonebender, Fuzz Face, One Knob Fuzz and Blue Clipper.

That's great Lars!
I think I might have to steal that idea at some point, but I've got a couple of extra ideas: if you paired each circuit with a 2 pole rotary switch, you could change up the order of effects, there'd be dead positions if two were set to the same position, but once you know that it shouldn't be a problem. Of course, if you could get your hands on a whole load of old ganged switches like on old test and measurement or some audio equipment, I'm sure it would be possible to kludge together something that would avoid dead combinations, but that would surely be a difficult approach. There's always the in/out jacks for each circuit and patch leads option too, but that feels more cumbersome to me.
A master bypass switch could also be handy to avoid tap dancing if you've got multiple circuits engaged.

I'm sure you friend will love it! Great job!

Finally someone who don't like fuzzes. ;D
Great work! What about the switching system and 9v sharing?
