This is an Op Amp Big Muff board from Eric at Blox Stompboxes. It worked first try and sounds great. Tidy, too. The outside is still unfinished.

Great job man! The board could have been made much smaller had I gone double-sided with the traces, however, I wanted it to remain single sided for future etches. That is a tidy build though!

I still have some of these boards left and listed in the sell/trade section of the forum. I was gonna list them on ebay but haven't had a chance yet.

There would even be enough space for a battery, if you had placed the pots the other way round... ;-)

That would have changed the layout a lot too though. Might also confuse those use to the normal 3 2 1 pot layout as well. There's all kinds of ways really. I was going for a tonepad style of etch or fab actually.

Great sounding MKII bender.

Mutron II. Doesn't always work. Something with the power section.

Mutron III. Fun.

Did you paint that perfboard black?  :icon_eek:

Yeah I paint them sometimes. It does not affect the tone.

Sure? I'd have thought it sounded darker...

Here is a couple pictures of my first etch.   I used the HCL H2O2 method.  It worked really well.  I'm off to work but hopefully I can populate these later.  There's a 77 op amp muff pi.... A muff fuzz V1 and v2.... And to the right is the oz comp.  Let me know what you guys (and girls) think.....have a good one.

Good looking etches. I like the white boards.

You may have already worked this out, but the Muff Fuzz seems to have a broken trace in the middle left. Otherwise, they look good.

To you, buffered bypass sucks tone.
To me, it sucks my balls.

Thanks!!!!  It looks that way doesn't it.   It's just a scratch on the copper and since I didn't clean them up before taking the picture (stupid) its really bright compared to the rest of the board.   :icon_cool:

I meant the top one in the middle. It's a sideways L trace with a pad on the far left and then no connection at the other end.It looks like it should continue down.

Couple of recent builds

Modified 6111 valvecaster. Kind of acts more like a boost than an OD butstill sounds great.

6211 acoustic tube preamp. Made for a local jazz guitarist. Has a built in buffer, boost, and tonestack.

Two distortion pedals based on the lpb1. Changed the schematic for more gain with very pleasing results!

If you'll forgive me for posting a pic of a pedal I've already shown...
The guitarist I sold this to loaned me his vintage Clone Theory (I think he said it's a 1974, but I could be mistaken) for some comparison photos.   :icon_biggrin:

I don't know why but EHX is notorious for using way oversized boxes and layouts for their pedals. I like yours.

Great pic!
I really like the design of yours, currently looking for gutshots in previous posts  :)
