Nice work. What rotary switches did you use for those if you don't mind me asking? Building the Meaty Balls right now and the switches i ordered from Digikey aren't quite the right fit.

This is the biggest pedal build I've done yet. Double stack PCB boards, 3 PT2399 delay IC's that are selectable, square/triangle LFO, FX loop to send the repeats to other effects, sound reactive LEDs, all kinds of great sounds to be had with this one. Hands down the coolest delay I've ever played.

You can get one here. They sell out the day they're restocked though, gotta be fast.

This is Fuzz Dog's take on the Dumble sound, apparently.  Is it $20 of parts sounding like a $20,000 amp?  Can't say...  Sounded OK through my Champ-a-like.  Quite flexible.

The wraparound graphic seemed like a good idea at the time.  It's not that well executed (you should see the other side!!) and probably needed a bit of forward planning before just diving in.  :icon_confused:

I could step that face all day long. nice one. AND I don't know any lines from the movie, so.

If you mean Jim Carrey somehow invites violence upon himself, then I agree.  I'm sure his Mum loves him, but I just don't get the relentless gurning and overacting.  I'll forgive (slightly) Dumb & Dumber because it's stupidly funny and it makes me almost pee in places, and I'll forgive The Truman Show because it's a brilliant movie.  Otherwise, I just want to hit him until he stops.

Anyway, when Fuzz Dog christens their project "Dumb Lloyd", the graphic was a no-brainer.  Like Mr. Carrey.

Believe it or not, put a clean boost in there. Uniqueness points shoot up to the sky!  :icon_mrgreen: :icon_mrgreen:

Finished this yesterday.  I was intrigued by a review in Guitarist for the "Comfortably Plum" pedal, combining Gilmour's Colorsound Power Boost and a Big Muff.  I got the "Comfortably", but "Plum"??  ???   Anyway...  So here's my take on that combo.  And I score one over the original because - as lamented by the reviewer, and rectified here - they missed a trick by making the order switchable.

So here's the "Numb Comfort":

You can just about see in the last picture that I used a couple of those light-up stompswitches from Tayda.  Apart from needing a mahoosive hole drilled, the lugs are less than welcoming to solder than their non-illuminated fare.  And I need my head examined for opting to use shielded cable for the runs between switches.   :icon_rolleyes:   (Temporary knob choice, btw.)

Still a work in progress:

I teased up this idea somewhat recently of building a guitar pedal (specifically an Orange Squeezer) in this lozenge tin:

Although the guts are not yet finished, I have done enough drilling, sawing, filing, and fitting to be 90% confident in my ability to actually build this pedal.

Hopefully, I'll have this officially done in a week or so, but my average project speed suggests longer.  I'm posting early to celebrate progress in the face of exhaustion from helping my wife navigate remote learning for my kids.  I will post a pic of the guts when the pedal is finished.

Nice job, Eric.  (I've never had much joy trying to repurpose tins.)  The retro design is really cool.  8)

Sadly the magic disappears with the reveal of the email address on the side.  ;)

Thanks!  Tins are a bit of a pain to work with.  Drilled holes need a lot of deburring, and the filings become magnetized.  If I had a ton of money, I'd own a set of punches, and the job would be a breeze, I suppose.

There is something poetic about a compressor being built in a tin that advertises New Size Better Value!  :icon_lol:
