In 2016 it was brought to @jprizz 's attention that there was a company selling pedals that looked like his, he showed his here in 2013.

Finished this Zonk Machine clone over the Christmas days. Printing done @Tayda.

Looking good, is it easy to design and have it done by tayda, what software do i need and what are their limitations in terms of colors and resolutions etc

Is it easy to design ?

Depending on your skills/program being used/knowledge of the tool/complexity of the artwork, yes.

Have it done by tayda ?

Yes (you follow the guidelines, place your order, upload the file, wait (up to one day during holidays, otherwise it's 20 min), upload your file, wait for the parcel).
Just read thoroughly the guidelines, and contact them if you have questions (they answered mine)

What software do i need?

They recommend Adobe Illustrator... But as you can provide them with pdf files, as long as you can generate a pdf, name the layers correctly, and use roland palette for white and gloss colors you should be fine.
If I hadn't access to an old CS6 Illustrator, I would use Inkscape.

What are their limitations in terms of colors and resolutions etc ?

Colors: no gold, no silver (roland printers can print using these colors but Tayda does not offer this feature), use white layer underneath colors in order to have a correct color, use CYMK not RGB
Resolution: vector files are highly recommended, do not forget to vectorize your fonts...
Other: they stopped checking the files, you're on your own. Check multiple times your files, on different computers (without the fonts) to make sure to spot potential mistakes.

ok thanks, i wonder if they will ever make an online editor to do this, i think they should, it would be worth their while.

I doubt it. It's a big job to do it well, and there are already tools available that do that, so what's the real need? Inkscape is *free*, so it's not even like there are only paid options.

wheres the 3mm warm white led headlights?...and red n blue 3mm's on top... :)
I know! Honestly didn't think about it till after I drilled that nasty big 5mm led!
I'll see what I can do to it at some point. I found some smaller 3mm led mounts afterwards

cool..no need for mounts, just 3mm hole, and a little glue around the edge of the hole, pop in the led...
i havent used led bezels for years now... 8)
Awesome. Thanks for the tips, Rob.
Yeah Nah - Nah Yeah

Parasit Studio's 'Guitar Synth' vero project.

Limited chance to play with this one as most of my gear is in storage due to building work, but good fun. Probably be better driven by a compressor. I made the input trim a pot as it allows some good glitchy sounds.

Thanks for sharing the projects, Freppo!

finished up another dreamtime delay for the guitarist from 'desolation angels' ...

Very neat, Rob.  Who better than DA to build pedals for DA?   ;D

Ohm's Law - much like Coles Law, but with less cabbage...

Happy new year folks. Some of my 2020 highlights:

Finally got that TriVibe into a 1590B (glad I never managed to find soldermans 1590A layout, this was enough of a ball-ache)

A Swollen Pickle based on a TV show I've genuinely never seen:

Some for the local sworn mortal enemies.

And a Bill and Ted themed Timmy.

Cheers. Be Excellent to each other!

Marcos - Munky

Very nice builds. Is the finishing waterslide?

I think it was Rocklander's, not Solderman's. Both are 1590A geniuses, with amazing 1590A layouts. Anyway, if you still want that layout, I happen to have it :icon_mrgreen:.

slashandburn

Thanks Marcos!  Yeah just waterslide decals.

Thanks for the offer for the layout but I'll pass, I'm not brave enough to try that!

Something heavy and big - reactive load.

Looks good Temol!

Which circuit is that, the Suhr?

Not exactly. Rather similar to Aiken reactive load. I do not use transformer for the line out, no fan, a bit different schematic.
