here's my Rebote 2.5 i've been annoying everyone about...  :icon_redface:  haha
it looks good i'm afraid to put anything on the box and mess it up...  i'll probably do some small stickers that will go around the knobs with names and lines, i don't feel like covering it all anymore...

you can see the trimpot soldered to the mini switch for a preset delay time for a specific song that needs precise timing (ex: U2 style) so i don't need to fool around on the delay before the song...  :icon_razz:

Here is a MUST Build folks.....

Ain't heard nothin' like it!!
Great sounding circuit for mild OD and plenty of boost fellas!!
Build it.....you won't regret it!  ;)

another beautiful MarkM creation... the inside looks really clean too... nice. (as always)

just fooling around, this is reply number 901 :P

bye bye

BTW, nice delay and fat boostered, is there any need for such a huge box for a tiny circuit??

bye bye, no offense

that's what makes it fat... the next enclosure size down from that brand might be a bit small to squeeze in four knobs, and very difficult with ones that size. i have done it though. you need to have the pcb up against and isolated from the pots.

Actually,
The knobs are the small MXR style....

I like the look of the size, It could fit for knobs/pots easily and there was no need to get out the shoehorn to make it fit.
I've done that before.....not this time!

just finished my pt-80 delay had a couple of problems but there sorted now

now on to the next pedal

I know I've said this to you before but, I'll say it again.....
I really like the graphic ALOT!
Nice Job Disto, I think it came out great!  8)

The GGG Fat Boostered and it's four pots was an easy fit into a 1590B.

Out of all the boosts I built this summer, the FB is my favorite.
I like mine with 2N5457s.

On mine the trebble and bass controls are very suttle. Maybe 3dB of boost at max.
Can anyone confirm this is correct?
I think someday I will experiment with cap values to get more effect out of the trebble control.

It used to be like that for me, Now I have bit and pieces all over my bench and circuit boards literally hanging from places in here!
My whole work shop looks like a PCB graveyard with various circuits and designs strewn everywhere and in different stages of assembly or dis-assembly......depending on which one you're looking at  :icon_rolleyes:

C'mon.....Where's the Battery?  ;)
I like the etch alot Pushtone, looks almost like a Firebird Logo from Pontiac!
I have no doubt in my DIY heart that I could've done mine in a B size but, I get itchy about two rows of knobs and no battery.
Just MY opinion though.
One could probably re-design the layout to accomodate a battery inside of the 1590B but, why bother?! It works!!
Anyway, the tone controls on mine are quite responsive, maybe because I'm using single coils?
Great job though!

What?!? There's more than enough room for a batt. Heck it's got more room than my NYC sublet.

If anything I thought I'd get razzed for the "vintage bypass".  :P :icon_redface: :-[

What! Can it be?!?
Can I really be the first here to put (etch) the Mud Flap Chick on a pedal?

This is a "buffered Booster" where the Stratoblaster is used as a unity gain buffer in place of bypass.
Fetzer Valve is the booster. Footswitch selects between buffered bypass and Fetzer booster.
These two circuits work great together and compliment each other in this arrangement.
I needed a buffered booster at the head of my chain of 8 true bypass pedals to prevent tone suck when all 8 are bypassed.

The 100k pot on the Stratoblaster is replaced with a resistor.

I am the king of goofy pedal graphics
