i agree, OFF WITH THEM!
There we go again...    look dude, I don't care. If the admins here delete my picture, I'll be fine with it, but I see no reason why... It's a goddamn copy of my zvex fuzz factory, just like a million people on here have made copies from pedals that are still in production.
I don't know about your place, but over here it's still fine to do that... and it's still fine to make a picture of it.  On my picture you see a B box with a led, a switch and 5 knobs... what a drama...
I don't sell it, and neither is Gila_Crisis.   I think we both more enjoy making some pedals instead of posting pointless remarks on a message board...

I did not post the schem, because the admins over here don't want us to do that...  I follow the rules. What's the problem?

Anyway, this is a pictures thread. I will only post this reply and then will not bother anymore. Post some more of your pedals dude, instead of whining in this thread...   Between posting this picture yesterday evening and this morning, I made a relay controlled volume box for my marshall amp.  Let's conclude that doing the diy thing is just awesome. Just as most pictures in this thread...

this place is just bubbles of sunshine lately.

Unfortunately no, the Tube Cricket remains in debugging mode :(

Dano - looks like an extruded enclosure - where'd you pick that up?  Is it the sort of thing you can get in various lengths of extrusion? Or is it just a recycled box from some other gear?

Nice preamp!  Tell me more?  =)

Company out of Illinois called Box Enclosures. Very cool extruded aluminum boxes, complete with end-plates and two sets of self-tapping screws. Very high quality, beautifully finished.

I'm going to start building stompboxes in these suckers--I really do love them :)

You can order directly from them but that is expensive.

Allied Electronics carries them for cheaper.

Box Enclosures also have some very nice ABS hand-held cases with colored rubber boots--might be ideal for an Atari Punk console:

Man, so much cool stuff in this thread!

Here's a photo of my 2nd build, a Bee-Baa clone. The circuit has been finished for a few months, but it was too damn cold to do the enclosure until just recently.

cheeb

Zarathustra that rocks!! I think that kid was me... I can never plan the outline around the knobs to actually match the knobs that go on there. Great job!

ambulancevoice

Dano, the new cricket is beautiful
i saw it on your site before i saw it on here
here is first proper build, anything else i built before this either didnt work or was just crap
just an fx loop with a random knob (b250k with 100uf cap bettween lug 1 and 2) and a power supply/battery to power the green led

went for an eroded black paint look with a smooth top, whole thing clear coated 4 times

why tell someone not to post there fuzz factory clones? alot of other people have posted there ts-808 clones and p.u. clones, are you going to tell them not to aswell?

Great looking enclosure dano - a little pricey - but they sure are purdy!

I wanted to give a little praise to Alliedelec.com - just got my first order this week - CHEAP AVX Caps (like this: 995-0100) - Cheap sealed cermet 100k trimmers (970-0322) - and VERY friendly customer service.  I'm used to working with futurlec.com... if Alliedelec.com had 50-cent pots, I'd probably never order from futurlec again!

Happy soldering.

I am thinking, expecting, hoping that was just a joke that landed on a sore spot.

At least, that's how I took it.
