I've been lurking around here for quite some time.
I owe y'all a huge debt for the help and information in here.  I'd never have figured any of this out without this forum.
Extra Big Ups to Aron, R.G, MarkM and so many others. 
Here it is...my first etched box.  Its a blues breaker I made for a friend.

You know what Brahmaputra means? 

brahmaputra... but... of course!
it's one of the longest river of Asia... i used the praktra font to make it 'indian'
brahma is one of the three trimurti of induism.
i chose this name for the strange tremolo effect with a strange drone pad... just listen to hysteresis...

if you just look at the give - take and the knob hands, it looks pretty surreal

give is volume
take is the effect...

the volume/level is 'given', while the effect 'takes' my ears/soul
when level is low the hand does not give!
when the effect is too low the hand does not take!
simple!

Well actually, the Blue Magic I build it and then a friend of mine was obsessed that I'd sell it to him.   He gave me 50$ which is reasonable, considering it's about 40$ of parts with the enclosure and everything.  I didn't like it as much as I thought I would.  I'm going to build a Peppermill next or try to push my Bassman Fetzer into OD with a booster wired right before it 2 in 1 (I tried with a LBP2 and never got it to work together, but when seperate, they both worked... weird).  I'll probably try the sparkle boost for that.

I think that is pretty cool stuff.  Big Muff looks great.  Don't worry about the pics.  I'd rather be a musician than a photographer.  Unfortunately, I am neither.

I've just finished building a self-oscillating fuzz kind of thing!



(nine minutes of messing around with .mp3) - It started as a jawari, but I started to tinker with the design, adding germ diodes in other places, trying various bends and mods and ended up with this. it sounds ESPECIALLY interesting when feedback looped! think of this as a prototype. I'll definatelly try and expand on the idea and make something more controllable! in the sample, the whammy-esque pitch-bending is just shifting the pickup volume on my guitar! I found best results just when using one pickup at a time, also. expect a revision in several weeks!
