:) I had lots of fun with the graphics. they still put a smile on my face every time I look at that box. The rebel switch goes from Clapton to Iommi btw. hard to make out in the picture.

I should build a Fuzz Ace next.. Anybody selling useable NKT275s?  :icon_biggrin:

Totally nervous, but here's my first build.  A Fuzz Face clone:

Here's some guts...I don't like the spaghetti, but I had to fit everything in the enclosure with the jacks on the sides, since I already drilled the holes. (whoops!)  At least it makes it easier to set the trim pots.

To solve the problem, I decided to give it tons of wire to reduce the risk of ripping things out when the battery gets changed, and as a double precaution, I put the PCB on velcro!!  ;D  Thought you guys might dig that. (or hate it, depending!)

Yeah, it's a double sided PCB, just so you can see the pretty paisley : )

Lemme know what you think, but be gentle! It's the first one!   :icon_redface:

That's actually restored fabric from the sixties!  The lady at the fabric store would KILL me if she knew I dyed it from faded white to purple!  After the dye in the kitchen sink, I just slapped it on, put 8 trillion coats of poly over it, and then airbrushed the black sides.

Actually they're all white.  I just painted all markings. Why? I don't know. Perhaps I've seen to much gooped interiors and at the same time I had my silver sharpie in my hand and  that wah was open so... I gooped  ;D
I found from my logal store some precisioncaps. About 1% accuracy. I guess polypropylen.
Metalfilm resistors. Old BC109 trannies with golded legs. Talkin' about golden sound here  ;D

using the same type of partern as sshrugg's lovely box is totally a coincidence!  :icon_eek:

possibly my tidiest work yet! I think I'll switch one of those pricey 3PDTs with a simple DPDT though.
