I think Dragonfly's build is a FuzzJade with an extra pot/mod?

Nope.

Its just a circuit I came up with for a bass fuzz.

I love the electric mistress - almost "puke green!"

Finally, one to share...
This is my EHPulsar built on the board in this thread:

(fixes the ticking problem of the original TP project: http://www.tonepad.com/getFileInfo.asp?id=29)

If you're looking for a trem to 'chop' - this is your huckleberry!

Here's the box inside/outside (internal wiring is messy - but works!!)

Where do you get those LED holders? I like those better than the big metal ones.

Hi ecua, welcome and nice first box.

I put mine in a 1590BB, so your small box makes me jealous.
Still I don't think I could have done what you did there. Nice work!

You had a decal meltdown.
Perhaps next time use a little less radio active material.  :icon_lol:

Question:
How do you wire the off board stuff, pot/switches/jacks?
What wiring technique do you use?,
Freehand?
Jigg?
Ship In A Bottle?

Some times I love my modded MXR EF because it makes such weird sounds.
Sometimes I hate my modded MXR EF because it makes such weird sounds.

Finaly got around to a DOD 440 EF. The two make a nice pair, the Odd Couple of the EF world.
The MXR is Oscar Madison.
The DOD is Felix Ungar.
It's time to buy a gun. That's what I've been thinking.

thanks pushtone.
Actually, no wiring technique.. only freehand... haha... lots of sweat to put those stuff inside this enclosure..

for decal, i used water slide decal, from scoopa.. it was my first time to use it, and transferring the decal gives me a hardtime.

I like those colors chris-d.
The bottom one is a hammer finish paint but what is the orangish copper colored one?

Thanks. They are both hammerite experiments. The loudener is gold hammerite over silver hammerite(or vice versa, i don't remember) before either dried. The Scuzzrite is copper hammerite, not allowed to dry, then hit with a Krylon clear(Crystal Clear, if i recall correctly). The Clear coat totally melted the hammer finish and turned it into the copper metallic fuzz you see there.

I love messing with that hammer finish paint. :D

Thats a really great job on a first pedal !

It's amazing what some first timers turn out these days...back in the old days (the rest of the old farts here will probably agree) our first projects looked nothing like what some of you new guys are turning out !

Congratulations !

Barcode80

it's just because you veterans have done all the hard experimentation work for us!

Always wanted to do one with knobs on the side.
Fox Tone Machine with GGG PCB and star ground.
Had to cut the board down and loose one ground trace side to fit between the switches.

I think the Scrambler sounds better.  :icon_sad:
