That's just a temporary box. I don't have the permantnent one done yet. However, the Blue Box will be turning into a Purple Box.

Everyone needs one of these.  :icon_wink:

Ok, I might stick with blue for the Blue Box clone, but the paint doesn't seem very durable, it's kinda soft, so I may need to redo it. I need some MXRish knobs too.

Yep - a Pilot Gold Marker.  Krylon makes a marker called "18Kt. Gold Leafing Pen" that turns out a lot nicer; but the tip is huge & it takes more patience than I have to color in the lines...........

Traintrack

It has all the mods plus I used the A/B switches to swap the caps on C5 and C6 as per a conversation with Paul C.
I would do it different next time with a larger board to hold the clipping section. Also I would use a rotary dial instead of toggles.

I love this pedal. I can get so many different tones with it.

I started this one almost two years ago! I am trying to clean up my mess. I still need to get some nicer washers on the switches.

Is someone a fan of Spacemen Three?  That looks like the cover of the Perfect Prescription album.

Here's my Highway 89.  This pedal ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The switch is there to knock some of the highs off if desired.

I don't know which I like better, the BSIAB or this one.   :o

Great sound, except some pops, not always. I should rewire the whole thing; cause it looks like hell inside. In the future I will not wire everything when it's outside the box; and use not so stiff wires.
Not a great finish; none actually; but I like it. Sometime in the future I will try to etch enclosures.

It looks fantastic.  Can you see the edges of the decals?  Just curious.

i used a 1k pot that connects from the emitter of the transistor to ground. lug 1 of the gain pot is connected to lug 2.  thats it, seems to work pretty well.

basically the exact same way the 'Dirt' control is wired in this bazz fusss version:

Here's a Red Llama I just finished for my brother in law.

I painted this thing 4 times before it turned out right.  Then when I went to put it together I couldn't fit the circuit board in.  :icon_eek:  So I ended up making a new layout with a cut out for the power plug.   ;D  I'm glad this one is done.....
