Controls - who needs a knob that goes to 11? Mine goes to 6 and just happens to perfectly line up with the pointer on my knob 

I really wanted to fit a grille or something over the front because I knew it would be hard to drill the holes without the paint cracking/chipping. This will do for the time being though.

Here is my littel  Gem 2 . I found the enclosure at a fea market like 10 years ago. At one time it was a speaker phone.

Another custom overdrive from me:

(simply a tape head connected by shielded cable to an lm386 amplifier (based on the smokey, 330uf output cap, gain and vol pot) then connected to an output jack, the 386 circuit i guess acts like a pre amp)
