^^ Awesome job man! The design of the enclosure is really cool and original... much like all the other ones you've made.
Are those knobs these 1/2"diam. ones from SB:

thanks!
those exact knobs yeah. I don't often use small knobs but bought them (and the silver ones) in case something came up. here I wanted to emphasize the desgn using the least amount of obstructions possible. ;)

Great clips man! Your choice of knobs are perfect for it... they really do blend in nicely with the design.

QuoteMy second Rebote.

That looks realy nice Brian. Waterslide on a polished enclosure, right?
I'm looking forward trying it on my next build.

I'll add an exp pedal jack after the holiday rush in a few days
and a quick power jack today, IF I have time ;)

Cloudscapes, that's a really nice piece of work. And a great fit too!

I like having big PCB's. I've made PCB-templates in my design tool, that fit B and BB boxes, with room in the bottom for the switch, the two jacks and the battery. That way it's easy to plan your builds, and if you make a new libary for you tall things (transistors, caps, etc.), so there's room for them to lie down, you can fit the PCB over the pots easy. That way you'll also get short wires, if you do it, solder side up.

Just my two cents - I love working on big PCB's... I'll mod an old EHX or BOSS any day!  ;D

Merry Christmas!

Messy, but I build my proto's quickly, so they sometimes are a bit "unsightly"....

That is much cleaner than my "real" builds. That's very annoying. :icon_lol:

QuoteHastily done, poorly recorded soundclip of the El Diablo. Clean first, then full on fuzz, then rolling off the guitars volume knob at the end of the clip.

Very cool. Pretty intense.

Clicking on that link brought up a login, btw. I had to go to the album below and click around to listen to your clip:

When you do get to the page with the soundclip, the url is the same as the link above. :icon_confused: I guess the gallery doesn't like direct linking?

thanks...i guess i'm just a perfectionist...

BTW...here's the outside...i just freehanded some lettering and skulls....ohh, evil...  :icon_evil:  ;)

anyway, its an interesting circuit...if i get inspired i may play with it some more...just not too inspired now...

Nice

What does the second switch do? I'm thinking of building this, but what is the max delay time?

You squeezed it into a 1590A - you insane fool!  :icon_mrgreen:

Well this... this is just silly... this can't fit in a 1590B... can it? And you're not even using SMD you mad man!

It bypasses the repeats pot for infinite repeats, and throws in a Ge diode from signal to ground to control the ramp of the oscillations. Basically, it oscillates but much much more slowly.

Evel Knievel DOD 250 (grey - MarkM layout).  The blue is much more *BLUE* than it looks in the pics, but I'm no photographer.

I think it is 580ms. You get a bit of noise at max delay, but otherwise it is a great sounding delay.

is that a date from the future? Did you do the swirl yourself, looks great.

It's supposed to say 12/15/07... but the marker slipped.  Oops.  Yeah, I did the swirl job.  I have a few more that I don't have photos of yet.
