Well, I would put such an effort restoring only high values synth. I have a few others here such as a Matrix 6 and Prophet 2000
which need repair, but I'm not going to spend too much time into them. I'd really like to find a dead CS80 though 

BTW, I think my most favourite P5 tune of all times is really the solo part of PHD's "I won't let you down"

Its odd seing so many of you who have your power jacks sit below your input jacks. Doesn't seem right to me, or is this to allow for more room for the board on the inside?

do you mean beside the input and not right up the top like on boss/ibanez etc.? the answer is pretty much yes. if you use the small MXR size boxes with a battery, then there's a logical layout which pretty much fits everything best. battery at the bottom, then switch above that, then the input/output jacks on above on the sides. now there's a gap on the left and right side of the switch where nothing else can really go. if there's room i like it right up the top, but the boxes are small and there often isn't. i agree, it doesn't seem right to me either. i don't like all that unshilded area right next to the audio and the switch. if you can use an un-insulated jack with reversed polarity (like the 3.5mm on EHX and the rat) and always have something plugged in there, it fixes that fear, but it's not practical for compatibility. if it's near the jack then i put it near the output since it has less prongs coming out and gives more room.

edit: ohh. and i forgot to mention that i usually like the pot and knobs to be as high as possible to get them away from the switch. you don't stomp on a switch as precise as you plug fast riffs.... if the power jack was there then it would take up a lot of space where the pots could be.

My newest endeavor.  Don't have enough pedals to warrant a full pedalboard, so I decided to box up the 3 I use the most in one box.  This is one of the samples I recieved from one of the places mentioned here.  The box itself is plastic with an aluminum cover.  I was hoping that both would be thick enough to be useful for pedals, but it doesn't look like it's going to be so.  Should be fine for in the studio or practice room, but I don't think it'll last long gigging with it.

At any rate... 
Matsumi SRV Special, Multifuzz is a multi face with a 3 position rotary changing between trannies (not built yet), and the Snake Eyed Beaver is a '77 Grey OD250 with a Gus Booster in front of it.  All artwork is done in Adobe Illustrator, printed on photo paper and glued to the cover.  Then shot with 3 coats of Krylon triple thick glaze. 



I'll post gut shots when I get everything wired up and working.

I'm on a "function over form" kick lately.  No LED, battery only Dist + built on the Tonepad Microamp layout.  I used a 2n2 cap to ground at the input and a 2n2 across the diodes like the '77 DOD 250 because I like it so much.  So it's sort of a "greatest hits" compilation of the whole DOD 250/Distortion +/Ross Distortion thing.

My 3rd stompbox will be a Sansamp GT2. It is mostly done. I don't have the pots or switches wired on yet, but all of the wires that need to be hooked to the board are in place. I've been slowly putting this think together since xmas time and now I'm getting close. Look at that mess of wire!

I've been drawing up a cabinet for a Blackface Vibro Champ with a 12" speaker, and I'd like to check out what kind of chassis my fellow builders use.
