HAHA! No - it's a red LED I fitted in the centre of the valve socket - I call it 'Virtual Glow Technology' or VGT - got the idea from my mate's Crate head which has little light bulbs behind the tubes!

Yes, quite a bit of 1200 grit on the sanding block - then a finish off with 0000 steel wool.

After the etch I "toothbrushed" it with baking soda then taped off the edges and shot it with a coat of gloss black - then sanded that off to fill in.

Dragonfly, what enclosures are those? Looks like they fit the battery a lot better than the Taiwanese B size from small bear. I'm still dremeling down the lid on every one
