you might try these jacks on ebay:

They're 2.1mm with switching and the jack itself protrudes from the pedal. With this one, you could insert it into the enclosure, tighten the nut on the outside and all that is on the inside is that small (~2mm) flange with the contacts. This looks like it could easily fit between the enclosure wall and the pots if there's not enough vertical space above the pots. I bot a lot of these of ebay and have loved using them. I hate the internal nut even though the jack is flush. don't like redoing wiring every time i take something out.

yes 4 knobs or knobs + switches. There's also a hole to jack remote.

I hate the internal nut even though the jack is flush. don't like redoing wiring every time i take something out.

i tighten it when i install it and then melt the nut to the jack on one point so it never gets loose.

I built this today:

its small, about 2.25" x 3.25" its the smallest hammond 1411 enclosure

cork feet are neat and no more expensive than th eplastic ones.  i had to relocate the screw holes though because the old ones were blocked by the battery and audio jacks

guts!

circuit is electra distortion with the emitter resistor omitted for more gain.

Is that enclosure aluminum or steel?  If it is aluminum, is it the same thickness as the other 1590 enclosures or thinner? It looks pretty cool

its aluminum.  i think its hammond 1411c.  bit thinner than the 1590 series, also a bit softer, so it all drills very very easily!  but its still very very sturdy (partly due to the small size).
they are quite cheap.  i bought a grey coated one because it was all that was in stock for $6 from digikey, but the plain aluminum ones, when availbe are only abotu $4, and much cheaper in quanity

This is definitely one of your bests works alongside of the Dual Rectal series and many others. It really sounds lovely an looks awesome... but the most important thing is the whole concept of mix the LFO to create something new. Congrats for your new "son".

Only one thing, if may I correct you in something small: If I recall from school and from my trip to Nazca many years ago, the cat is actually "the dog". Looks like there's a concensus about the names and meanings of the lines, check this out:

Hey John, have you ever considered making a boss type footswitch with your wooden style?  Like a big wooden block on some nice hinges, with a spring underneath, that pivots and presses a hidden switch?

By the way I love the way those knobs look with your enclosure, reminds me of old cathedral radios and ancient military radios.  And peanut butter cups.
