John, is that a separate plate on top of the enclosure? I'm sitting here racking my brain trying to figure out how you rusted aluminum lol

I've been on a metal kick for a while now.
I've been meaning to make this style for over a year now.
It's just a rusty scrap metal piece I cut out.
No way to rust aluminum, oxidize for sure though.
Now If I could just find more knobs like this!

that's weird.. i have a piece of metal that's cut to right size for a hammond box in my garden waiting for a nice rusty look. i guess DIYer think alike...

and i have those knobs :p

@ John Lyons:

i got those knobs from my grandpa (vintage knobs from vintage man:p). i still have about 10 of them.
i also have loads of very nice bakelite knobs but most are too big to use on effects.

I seriously have to say, this is one of the nicest looking pedals I've ever seen ... good job.

Heh, yes. I'm also a photographer, and I do alot of macro shots -- which is what you see here.
