dang, I was going for Sam Houston (http://www.numismondo.com/pm/itx/Itx%20Sam%20Houston%20Harpers%20Weekly%2030.3.1861.jpg).
I guess I messed it up with the mustache.  My display picture is Ray from the online comic Achewood, I think I prefer that analogy to Wade Hampton.

...and that was the last time anyone posted a picture of them self on the stompbox forum.

Ross distortion:

How are you doing that kind of LED mounting, i just add some epoxy to mine at the back, but i'm sure there's a better way...
Dig those pedals though, nice and clean style.
i use a unibit and drill until the hole is just about to bust through, but then stop, so that it leaves a lip around the hole's edge to keep the LED inide. then i attach a  millenium circuit to the inside and bed the LED coming off of it in a way that it holds itself in the hole.

EDIT: that's how i usually do it, but ijust remembered that on that ross distortion i just glued the LED in place.

The new generation of southern advancement.

Ahahahah, the one on the left with mr. Zakk Wylde and with the great Chuck Billy is Baffo, the first and most important metal person in Rome...He's just a clone of that Wade Hampton!!!  :icon_mrgreen:
Done an' workin'=Too many to mention - Tube addict!

New shots of my finalized io Super Distortion. I hand distress and burn each one to fit my mood at the moment.  ;D

Care to explain what you mean with burn? I really like the looks of the pedal and I'd like to try it for myself.

You squeezed it into a 1590A - you insane fool!  :icon_mrgreen:

Well this... this is just silly... this can't fit in a 1590B... can it? And you're not even using SMD you mad man!

Sam Houston is a good one too. Being from South Carolina, Hampton sprang to mind first.

There should totally be a "Pictures! Of You" thread. It would be so hilarious.

I mean it literally: I set it on fire and let it burn for a bit. Then I take a torch lighter and go to town until I like it.

Gila_Crisis

so, this is the third edition of my old RattleCrow/DirtyBird! this time i've redone the circuit on a vero layout, with all the mods by moosapotamus:

I finished that Echo Base that I was working on.

It's sounding really rad except I need to replace the feedback resister so I don't have to be quite as careful with that pot.  I'm enjoying the hell out of playing this thing.  Thanks to Slacker for designing something awesome, Joegagan for the engraving tutorial and Pedal parts plus for the "blemished" enclosure (I'm still not sure what was wrong with it).

I painted this one. Its an awesome 4" round enclosure...Mic Farlow makes 'em. I'm going to auction it for charity on eBay unless someone (Ive got a couple interested people) offers a amount that I can donate to MDA that is high enough to keep it from going to "bid". The last one (a 1590B box) raised $120 for charity, so I'm hopeful that this one will do well !

Anyway, these boxes are awesome...contact Mic Farlow if you want to buy one...

(some day I need to get a better camera....  This looks so much better than the pictures show.... )

i only know of one version of the Ross distortion circuit. This one is the one built on MarkM's layout. The only non-stock part is a 4148 in place of one of the Ge diodes, just cause i only had one Ge left...

That echo base is the balls man!  Was it a bitch getting it in that enclosure?  What size did you use?  Oh, and the mutton chops are good to go man, don't sweat all the chop prejudice that prevails around here.   :icon_mrgreen:
