I finished my first tube amp build today.  It's a slightly modified fender vibrochamp circuit built into an old marshall solid state head's chassis and cabinet.

That looks sweet, boogdish.  People will think you're playing a Marshall, but when you start to rock out, it's pure Fender.

i built that one to green russian specs.

You can keep your apperance up with the Marshall but not have the high frequencys like sandpaper on your ears, you can have it the way it should be.

well worth it, I stuck a firefly tube amp into my Park g10. A great improvement

It's stock with just an AMZ presence control added.

Oh, about the label - I simply couldn't help myself 


The label is full faced sticker backed paper. 
I "designed" the label using corel draw and printed it with a laser printer.
I then gave it 4-5 coats of clear.

The piece of plexiglass that is sandwiched between the box and the bottom plate has a hole drilled into it where the LED is placed, which lights up the edge of the plexi on the bottom.  Yes I used another LED(BLUE) for the on/off indicator.  The indicator LED is wired through the footswitch, the plexiglass LED is hooked up direct.  On other pedals I have used an on/off toggle for the plexiglass LED.

Next, I will try something a bit different!

OK, OK, OK............it's a synth - but it does have a stompswitch to initiate the envelope so I can control it when I'm playing guitar - does that count?

My own design - the architecture is based on one of my favourite EMS Synthi A patches. A couple of LM13700's inside, the rest is done with LM324's and TL082's. Huge red envelope trigger button and a tiny joystick to control the VCO and VCLFO frequencies. The rate LEDs are under the graphic and only show up when it's turned on.

Thanks to my mate Martin for designing the graphic in CorelDRAW, and to Malcolm who cut the front panel using CorelDRAW/CNC.

It's called the "Dalek's Handbag" - if you ever hear it you will understand why!

Thank you Boogdish! Yes, the 12 volt DC socket, footswitch input and audio output are right where the handle is.
