Rick, that is mindblowing.
1. You perfed it. What are you, a mutant? Jesus...
2. The front with the layout, label, and especially around the joystick area looks super-professional.
3. Being inside that briefcase makes it look totally cool. Like you come out to play for business. I see you laying it down in like a suit and sunglasses and opening it up and blowing freaking minds.
4. Even with all the wires, it's still way clean inside.
5. You perfed it!
6. And are those cigarette ashes in the bottom of it? haha

Did you notice that he perfed it? Damn.  :icon_lol:

+1 Rick, that is a very nice build.

Just got moved in - still unpacking - but i've been playing around with some new finishes. These are just quick "test boxes"...the black and red one has some blushing that I'm hoping will disappear (it decided to rain after weeks of being dry here in Austin...). Anyway, I'll try to take better photos later once my cameras battery is charged...

I also have some other ideas I want to test out in the coming weeks....

I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I like those a LOT better than the ones HBE are doing on the Lorba fuzzes. I guess that's why it's an opinion lol.

Very nice, man.

first coat was a standard orange spray paint, second was plastikote crackle paint, then finished with an acrylic clear coat

nope - just rigged up a jig and went. i'm too poor to buy pottery wheels and such "extravagant" items :D

BTW - I tried the "lazy susan" method...didnt work well at all for me...

I wondered when/who was going to be the first to try that.
  EZ...eh ?
Once you get the thing spinning, simple.
Try on blanks or is that the first spin?
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

things to watch...

paint thickness
color bleed
speeding up / slowing down

it takes a little practice....

i have a bunch more ideas as well.
