You should post a video fo how you do this. Its really cool. Unless of course you want to patent that and make enough money to...like...buy a cheeseburger or something...

Inflation sucks arse yanno. ;D

Pre-production version of my Fuzz Pedal. (yet another Fuzz Face, basically a '69 with a "real" bias control)
It uses the same 2SB172 GE transistors I'm selling (see signature) and sounds wicked!
("Taniwha" is the New Zeland equivalent of a Boogieman/Earthcreature, in this case one of the Wellington area.)
It's supposed to sound that way.

Looks fantastic Niels!!
Is the box screen-printed?

Actually, they messed it up and accidentally "laser-etched" it out of the paint.
(long story how that happened, they did it with a vinyl cutter...  :P ) Anyway, so this one has bare metal for the graphic.
The final ones will be glow-in-the-dark screenprint (hopefully, still sorting that out) on metallic green and creme knobs.
Oh yeah, and hopefully with original BasicAudio™ PCB's...  ;D Getting closer!

Oh, I see now...I was seeing the bare metal as white paint (glare).
At any rate, cool looking graphic and a nice layout/overall appearance.
A+ for you.

I'd always thought of petemoore' s Avatar as the Jackson Pollock of guitar pedals. :icon_cool:

WoW !!! Great painjobs and very good picture also.  :icon_eek:

I searched for Frère Jérôme paintings today and I could find nothing  :icon_frown:
He used this process (here in Montreal) to do very big paintings in the 60's and 70's.
I went to the same school of art where he was teaching.
He was a really weird religious mystic monk ( and painting teacher  :D ) and a lover of abstract painting.

Well done Andrew !

Thanks !

:)

I did the swirl tutorial (in my gallery folder)...

As for these.... find a way to make the box spin and pour layers of paint on it while its turning. Pretty simple really. Just takes a bit of practice.

I have a few more things I want to try with it as well.  After I get the techniques refined I might do a mini-tutorial on spinart enclosures.
