I think I posted the enclosure but it now has guts. Really mean fuzz face. It squeals when both knobs are too high and is rough all around. It didn't squeal on the breadboard so I think I put a 100pf cap on the wrong transistor. Might leave it as is unless it gets sold. Should put a power jack in there too. Has resistors from a junk bag I bought and used a Q1 - BC109 and  a Q2 - 2N2222.

Here's a camera audio clip with my Classic 30 and fish tank back ground..

Yeah! I see the brain (Krang) in the belly of Pooh, but i can't see the turtles and even less Pikachu... :-\
I know, but the pedal i built does not boost...it just increases volume!

Pre-production version of my Fuzz Pedal. (yet another Fuzz Face, basically a '69 with a "real" bias control)
It uses the same 2SB172 GE transistors I'm selling (see signature) and sounds wicked!
("Taniwha" is the New Zeland equivalent of a Boogieman/Earthcreature, in this case one of the Wellington area.)

That is fecking cool as all get out.

I mistook Krang's robot's legs for Pikachu's ears. ;D

Yah if you mean the bubbly look..... i'm still not sure what's going on there. Sometimes it works. I just let physics take over and stop when it looks cool.

Well my digital camera died, so I had to use the camera attached to my girlfriend's laptop.

It's a modified bigmuff, used the violet rams head as a starting point.  It's got a voltage regulator simulating a half dead battery, LED clippers on the first clipping stage and a few little capacitor changes for to get the tone how I like it.  This is probably my favorite distortion that I've built so far (out of bazz fuss, octavia, Landgraff TS, Distortion+) but I'm probably sort of psychologically biased to like it most since I just finished it.  The lettering on this is engraved, like I've been doing.  This is the first of a pair of these that I'm building, before putting the circuits in I took a picture of the enclosures to show the guy I'm building them for, so here's a better look at the finish of the pedal and you can imagine what it's twin will look like.

hday

The texture of that greenish one is great. Usually that layered look looks like crap, but that's really killer. Great layout too. What's your process? Green, then taped, the red over the tape, the engraving, then red in the engraved part?

monkeyman

No, its not the pedals that im showing off, or the guitar, but rather the guitar stand.
Hand carved from red cedar and glued up with gorilla glue, this is actually surprisingly sturdy (although it doesn't look it).
Anyway, i thought some of you might appreciate it...

Nice work, seems to suit everything else in your place.

A Broken Clock Is Right Twice A Day

Boogdish

Thanks hday, I did a coat of primer, the coat of textured green, baked it, then taped, then engraved through the tape to form a sort of stencil, then painted, baked again, then some light sanding, then clearcoating.  I'm still trying to find the right tape to use to get the best results of this, I'm having little flakes of tape get stuck down in the engraved area.  I'm also still trying to perfect my spraycan technique to get nicer textures.

Good day all,

Not really a pedal, wouldn't want to step on it  but... it can be plugged into an another amp and it does have a Millenium II switch in it. In real life also it is white, pictures lie. :)
