Well, this is my first entry in this wonderfull thread, one which has been a great inspiration.

It's a GGG Bluesbreaker (I know , I'm funny like that...).

No, no gut shot, evil lurks in the rat nest of it's innards  :icon_mrgreen:

it's my very first pedal and the one a use most of the time, I love it.

EDIT: ok, afterthought I think fairplay makes the gutshot compulsory (besides I've embarassed myself before, I can take it  :icon_lol:)

Good day all,

Not really a pedal, wouldn't want to step on it  but... it can be plugged into an another amp and it does have a Millenium II switch in it. In real life also it is white, pictures lie. :)

:o All I can say is wow. Very nice work!
I don't care much about music. What I like is sounds.

JFX09, I like your pedal...tell us more about the external finish!

Thanks Adriano !  It's two coats of Fire Red rust paint, slightly baked then the yellow lettering is a stencil I made, used rust paint too. Then the labels are waterslide decals, which I completely done wrong, both in terms of placement and results. Finished with a couple of coats of clear. Et voilĂ  ! h and of course the edges were sanded down to bare metal as you can see.

Great layout and wiring Dave!  :icon_biggrin:
There is a lot of time put in there on the mechanics of that one.
Love the pot shaft extender as well.

Hey, was that your design ? I honestly can't remember seing it. And there I thought I was all original  :icon_lol:

Made a clip of it. Ok, i can't actually play a song to save my life but still, I think people shouldn't be shy and post clips of their realisation. After all, in the end, it's all about the sound, not the paint job, no ?

oK, crappy mic, sorry.

All that Lego playtime is paying dividends! (But not enough playtime to make Lego enclosures, ones gotta nap.)

Back to reality, I'm a big sponge, thief, copyist,  look at  every build i can and then try to emulate what i think has worked well in those. Just always looking, always trying to find ways to do it better.

Nice work. Is that an extended pot shaft?

-Azza

Yes, it's for a line out (Herzog knob on the front panel). The pot is fed from the output transformer so rather then run cable to a front panel pot and then another cable to a back panel  jack, over and under heater wiring and high voltage wiring etc., put the pot close to where it was needed.

Cheers

Yes...it really IS this bright !

Unfortunately there's a bit of peel on the sides...hopefully I can get it evened out, but even with it, this enclosure is an eye catcher !

So...what should I build in it ???   :?:

"Swirl" paint jobs are idiosyncratic by their very nature, almost like wood.  Some are pleasant and functional, and others qute striking.  I'm wondering how soon it will be before swirl chassis start being graded like guitar tops; A grade, AA, and AAA grade, etc.
