Awesome.
I had a Green Machine... I used to tear ass around the driveway in that badboy ^_^
Should be more like "for 3, 4 and 5 year olds", but whatever.
looks cool too.
Thanks! Yeah, I remember being younger too... But I ripped the "slogan" directly from the old Marx Toys marketing material.. http://www.tomheroes.com/images/greenmachine.jpg
I'll try to post sound clips once my friend records some :)

Here it is! My first build, a Rat Clone. I ran across a Make Magazine article on DIY pedals, and then ran across an Instructables.com project that was done through Tonepad.com. So that was the push I needed to get started. I have to say, this thread is one of my new favorite things on the internet, so many great designs!

I ran into a problem where Smallbear sent me the wrong transistor, and I didn't find out until after my first test of the pedal. They sent me a 2N5139 instead of the 2N5458 that I needed. But, that has been replaced, and it sounds great! I like the more musical feedback I'm getting from it (as compared to my DS-1).

a year ago today I built my first pedal, which was a GGG kit.  Hopefully tonight I can get the last couple kinks ironed out of this for my anniversary:

I should have put all the pcbs on one board, but that wasn't possible. As long as it works I don't worry too much about the guts.

That really makes me want to get on with making mine...I'm no real noisemaker, but I dig the sounds that thing makes.
