Thanks, it was a tight squeeze.

Dano, you're a cheat. No resistors nor caps! :icon_evil:

ROFL.

Yeah, two big electros and that's it.

It's taken a couple of months, but they're finally coming together!!  :D
Enclosures are done now, just assembly left.

And I got it my way, they glow in the dark!

I'll might have one or two for sale to forumites, if interested, PM me...
Cheers,
Any
It's supposed to sound that way.

Whatever that is, I think I must have one.....

It's a Germanium Fuzz Face with a 'contour' and 'bias' control.
Practically a 'boutique 69' with true bias control instead of the volume control at the input.
It's very tweakable and allows for quite a drastic palette of sounds.

Some friends at my panel shop sprayed the boxes Ivy-green metallic and clear coated them.
Then I've screen printed these at home using a $50 screenprint kit, with one coat of off-white and two coats
of glow-in-the-dark ink (both oil based paints) and a final clearcoat from the panel shop to seal it.
Since it has no status led I wanted to at least see the pedal at all times...

And of course those handsome, salt of the earth folks that bought trannys AND taniwha boards will have first crack, yes?   ;)  I don't care if that thing sounds like a popcorn fart, I want one!
This is not my large automobile

Minimal Cricket. Built on an IC socket.

:icon_twisted:

Looks kinda like a big block V8 (edit: V16, come to think of it) in the middle of a manifold job. Way cool. Deserves a fitting name, like Semi-Hemi, or some such.

Cool stuff! Where did you get the silkscreening kit, and how many tries did it take to get such a nice finish? Great job!

Kind regards, Jake

Damn, that build puts all of mine to shame. Very neat and tidy!

fluoreszenz

took me quite some time to build it, but now it's finished and works, spray-painting took forever, it's my first non-etched enclosure

It is a TS 9 with some asy/sym clipping, fat boost and gain mods

+ blue LED    ;D ;D

@ any: those are really bad-a** enclosures  :o 8)

Thanks Solderman.

I've got 8 more A size pedals in the making. The pcb layouts are done for a phase 90, Box of Rock, SHO, Rebote 2.5 and tremulus lune ...

Just need the cash to buy the parts :D

Hi Really nice, that is an impressive list you got there. How do yo plan to fit all the pots on the tremulus lune ?? Below is the ones  that i have managed to shrink so far (publiched here befor but not together).
Upper row from left

  • Mini Man=A tweaked AMZ miniboster with MOSFET and Si Clipping and a tone pot
  • Read Rooster=A mix of different EH tremolo type of designs.
  • Smalltalk=Fullfone OCD clone with dropped tone pot and HP allways ON
  • PH45=MXR Phaser 45 no modds (best phaser ever in my opinion)
Lower row

  • Little Squeeze= DOD 280 Compressor modded with trim pot for different attack TL082 and added gain/sustain
  • Black Chili= A ROG Double D modded with the pot:s moved and gain tweaked (My daughter hasn't painted the chili on the box yet)
  • Viper=ROG Thor with the treble boost always on

I have been sitting on a  ready made layout for the Rebote 2.5 http://solderman.fatabur.se/Future%20project/Small_Delay_STP.jpg but now I have got my thumb out and ordered (very expensive  >:() 9mm pots and SMD 47 uF E-lyts, only 6,5mm high, to get all to fit in a 1590A box. There is actually plenty of room in a 1950A box as long as the components don't  take up more then 10mm in hight. With SMD and double side PCB Sky's the limit ;D

Please tell me you're going to put all those on a pedal board when you're done. So many tiny pedals!

just finished this Obsidian, massive distortion unit   ;D

+ badly drilled enclosure, oh well     >:(
