This is my modded DOD FX91 Bass Overdrive. ...
That looks good!
Do you perhaps have a link to the schematics of that DOD FX91 bass overdrive?

EDIT: I found this:
http://www.sugardas.lt/~igoramps/article16/fx91.gif

Yes! this is the same sch that I used.
I just put a 27n in C24 position...more treble than the original.

The other mods regarding buffered bypass and a circuit to LED.

Nice! A couple of my favorite bassists use this pedal. What kind of op-amp and transistor did you use? How does it sound?

I used the TL072, I think that other OPAMP sounds the same way.
It sounds great. The distortion sounds natural.
The BLEND control works fine and the sound come fat.
The unit have a lot of gain.

Just a preview of the amp I'm building right now.  I know it's not a stompbox, but seeing as I got my start building stompboxes I figured I owed you folks a picture.

If somebody makes a mistake, help them understand what went wrong.  Show them how to do it right.  Be helpful.  Don't just say "you're wrong, moron."

A quick gutshot...

MOSFET polarity protection, charge pump, 15v regulator, TS style clipping section, BM style tone control, trimpot to set the level going to the feedback control. It's the insides of the red pedal I posted a few days back.

I bought these in the UK, though I`m sure you can find a local equivalent. For the measly sum of a quid - at Poundland, where else? - you get 2 of these fine stainless steel enclosures, one slightly smaller than the other. They are actually indian style food containers. Sort of a poor man`s Bixonic Expandora type enclosure, I like to think.

There`s loads of room inside, but be warned, the metal is an absolute pig to cut. I would recommend the use of a centre punch to get you started. Another recommendation is eye protection because when the drill digs in, little razor sharp shards of metal start flying. Ferric chloride doesn`t seem to make much of an impression either.

My favourite "feature" of all, is the convenient battery access.

Any noise problems with the plastic back?

Nothing discernible, though it would be a simple matter to stick aluminium foil, or some of that aluminium tape, on the inside of the lid to enclose it completely .

Ripdivot

How did you do the emblum. It looks very cool!

GREEN FUZ

It`s made from a thin sheet of aluminium that I acquired from a kid`s craft toy called 'spirofoil'. You could probably get something similar at a craft shop. It`s very maleable and easy to work with. I first created a template in Photoshop and printed it out it on plain paper. Then by using some sort of tool - a pen or pencil would do - you go over the template pushing hard to create an impression. You can go back and forth working on alternate sides of the metal till you get the level of embossing you want. I screwed it up a bit so started stippling with a sharp object in an attempt to cover the mistakes. After that it was cut to shape and glued to the enclosure with a two part epoxy.

Very nice! And it keeps your circuitry nice and fresh! :)

Just finished this up on a dreary rainy day with nothing else to do. It's a Rangemaster, with CV7112 NPN tranny and blendable input cap.

very Nice. I like this kind of inventive thinking.

volume pedal is in front, to control gain

this one's a Rat Distortion, PCB made by my good friend Lipton

this one's Tim Escobedo's Folkurban Octup (enclosure previously a mini pedal looper/isolator)
