Here's a lab box I just built, on top of a scope i found cheap. Not a pedal but sure good to have around when building some. XR2206-based frequency generator, pink noise generator and a frequency generator (kit from Nuxie). I just have to rotate that sine/saw switch, then it's done.

that looks awesome! any other pictures of the enclosure you used?

Same inspiration! Great mind think alike! I dig the GGG Reverb, does it sound good?

Dan
I know, but the pedal i built does not boost...it just increases volume!

Hey cool Dan! yours looks great!

Yes the reverb sounds great, really enjoying it.
It eats batteries thou, I need to get a power supply for it.

Here is the Donkey Kong. I gave it its name because it can sound like those old Commodor VIC 64 games and arcade games from the early 80:s. 4 switches and a pot was a menace to wire. Its based on the Slacktave MKII. I'll post more in the 1590A thread, tech info, project files and sound samples etc. as soon as I have had time to record it and compile the info.

Following the poster theme, here's Mark Hammer's Chaos.
This is a great sounding metal pedal.
Really like the way the tone control works.

The finish is polished aluminum.

Thanks
It's kind of fun searching the internet for these old posters and trying to match them up with a pedal theme.

Hi Guys,

I am posting to show you some of my latest builds. I used Frequency Central's (aka Rick's) overhead transparency film trick to finish these. I am still perfecting it, but it works much better than paint for me. These are built in $4 Radio Shack boxes I scored recently.

So, first up, a couple of views of the family:

Next my version of the Tremulous Lune, and the Clari(not):

Here is one of a Whisker Biscuit and a Prof. Tweed in one box. The guts are ready to be installed. I give each circuit an in and out jack so I can run them independently or one through the other in either direction. The DROP Channel is similar but has a Tonemender and an RMX Distortion:

And lastly some gut porn shots for all you pervs:

As well you should, Rick.

I just posted these on the West coast in California at 10:30AM local time. I am amazed you saw them so fast in the U.K. (I think we have 9 hour time difference, so it must be night there.)

It really is amazing what the internet has done to and for our lives. I doubt I would have built any pedals at all if it weren't for sites like this!

Hi
Nice boxes and layouts. reminds me of some props from an old 60:s TV show like "Lost in space" some thing Dr "what ever his name was" could use or some thing "Flash Gordon" wold use ;D
BTW no stomp switches how do you engage them??

Ha ha. I was wondering when somebody would ask. I don't really use these as "stomp" pedals. I am a synth player mainly, so I use them like effect processors, sitting on a table. I just plug them in to the effects loop in my mixer. Or I just plug them through each other when playing at home.

If I were gigging with these or wanted to sell them, I would probably have to give them a stompable bypass switch.

My other, uh, "innovation" is that I use wall warts to power these. I just cut off the regular connector at the end of the cable and solder on a 9v battery cap. Then I put another one on the outside of the box to connect to.

Can you tell I am cheap?...
