Great job kurtlives!

Here is my '12V' Electric Mistress (the 9V mistress running on 12 volts) or a presentation of my poor drilling accuracy :D.

Came out perfectly. Worked on the first attempt, and was quite easy to calibrate by ear. Sound is awesome. The only thing that bugs me is the well known volume drop, which I'll have to attempt to fix soon...

JFX09, how did you get the different gradients in your colors there?  That is an etch, right?

Yes, it's etched, then painted and sanded but went too far. Ended  liking the effect.

Another Murder One, built for a client. It's a 'special' !! He wanted the option to use it as an amp or a preamp, so there's an extra switch to select what comes out of the output socket. I thought I'd better add a CAUTION warning, as the amp needs to be switched off before engaging the switch. It makes the Murder One pretty flexible, as in preamp mode it can be used into another amp, mixer, cab sim or whatever.

It's the one from markusw (http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=44582.msg328171#msg328171). I just replaced the 10v zener with a 13v one..

PCB's, rick?  :icon_lol:

Looks great, as always.

Just out of curiosity, how long does it take you you put one of these together?

i've often pondered the thought that dumble amps are a myth  ;D  you only hear them TALKED about and everybody that's got one seems to "leave it at home".  i put it in the category with Bigfoot and the toothfairy...
my wife said if i were to spend that much on a piece of equipment, it better have 4 wheels, cook dinner, and put the kids to bed!
When your life is over, will any of this STUFF really matter?

Here is the bass preamp I have been working on for the bassist in my band.
I will post sound clips in the next day or so.

Features:  Hi/Mid/Low tone stack, mute button, tuner out, volume knob.  Runs on 9v or 18v.

This was my first time using CAD.  I used Google SketchUp.
Every pedal that I do now will be planned out with this. It made the construction so much easier!!

Yeah, PCB's.  :icon_redface:  John Lyons made me some up. Though I'm having to modify them quite a bit now to incorporate the negative grid biasing mod I'm using now, and for the amp/preamp option. I've recently layed out a new board design with all the mods which will make things easier.

How long does it take? Not sure really, I never counted, though I'd guess at 6 hours including drilling and sanding the enclosure. I don't rush though, it takes as long as it takes.

Definitely strange to see one of your projects without that signature perf work.  Looks great though!

Beautiful swirl and great photography. The Tele knobs look like gears though - do they all turn together?  :icon_biggrin:

Thanks! I like to call them "interactive". The two in the middle slightly touch at one point in the turn, I'll replace them next time I place a parts order. I'm low on knobs and took these off a Mesa Boogie V-Twin.
