My first build in an enclosure. Have done quite a few projects so far but none have been boxed up.

This is a blues breaker i made for a friend, built from MarkM's layout in the gallery (thanks Mark  ). Its not very neat inside, I really struggled to get it all in there but i am sure it will get easier from here.

I only had the dpdt switches so i had to squeeze a millennium bypass in there as well.

Puh-lease.  What are you beating yourself up for?  That's a fine wiring job, especially considering the m-bypass on the baby board.  Good work!

John, that makes me want to order some more enclosures from you. Those are fantastic.

To everyone else: if you haven't tried one of John's enclosures, do it now. Even if you've got your own finishing process, you've got to at least see what is going on with these things. They are gorgeous.

Do the points on the knobs interfere with one another? From the picture they look like they would touch when at 3o'clock and 9o'clock.

Actually they do hit slightly but I am going to grind the points a little to make them
clear each other. I just took the pic before it was finished.

OK I saw John's Snakeskin -and I actually started doin this so I could get my whole rig in snake (one reason).
Only it was TOO expensive so I got snake tolex.
I use all kinds of stuff to cover these Rayco enclosure.

Brymus, I like the handles over the controls - it should protect them from accidental changes.  Did you rivet the snakeskin to the boxes?

Thanx yes ,the handles are very sturdy.I have tested them and they do offer a great deal of protection.
No the snakeskin is contact cemented to the electrical box.
I also "foiled" the inside using contact.
The rivets are to hold the battery clip and the corners.
I tried upholstering the enclosure with cut corners but it didnt look so hot.
The rivets insure the corners dont work loose or tear ( at least not easily )
Eventually I have a Strat I am gonna do with the snake then my whole pedal chain, amp ,cab,and guitar will match.
