That's actually #20 solid wire.
I have been working on a 5lb roll of
solder for a while now...

ahh. my mistake....
Blood, Sweat & Flux. Pedals made with lasers and real wires!

Hello together,
great pedal porn again, especially the Bitcrusher-artwork
and the ultra-mojo-guts from the MKIII-Clone - real great mojo-work!!!

Not enough time in the day.

You ever think bout selling some of those John?

John Lyons

Most of these are either pedals I make and sell or debug prototype boards
I have fixed for production work for others and not boxed them to use.

Here's my most recent build. No guts(sorry). They're fugly in this one. I couldn't get Dragonfly's vero to work on my breadboard. So I made my own from the schematic at Beavis Audio. This Llama spits and snarls like crazy! Anyway... Here's the pic and my layout if anyone wants to use it. I'm sure there are more than a few out there.

My vero layout for WHRL

Sorry for fuzzy pic. my camera sucks. What cameras do you guys use to get those great pics?!

La Llama Diablo!

The knobs are labeled "volume" and "spit". You can't tell from the photo (photobucket has horrible resolution and my camera sucks), but the eyes are two yellow 3mm LED's. I wasn't sure what size hole to drill for them with no clip or mount so I just went with 1/8". Worked great! This thing sounds awesome! I used the 4049UBE from PPP. I've heard some other WHRL clones on YouTube and mine seems to have a LOT more gain than some. If anyone uses my WHRL layout, let me know how it works for you.

I know you mentioned DSP before, so if you ever decide to start selling pre-programmed chips I'll be your first customer.

I dont really write songs, I prefer to play ambient textures and soundscapes. for that, these sorts of effects are perfect!
here's a track from my latest album, to know what I mean

Now, I'm not very familier with this type of music...Is it for movie production, or for your listening pleasure?

Either way it's pretty darn cool. You must have a vivid imagination to come up with that sort of thing.

Hi really nice box and the sound I awesome, but....
I must confess, I must be me, but I can't just stop thinking about a Swedish children's program from the 60:s when I see you sock mowing about. It was mad by a guy named Staffan Westerberg who has been accused to have brainwashed a whole generation of Swedish preschool children with his TV shows. Among them was one about to characters that were composed of two socks on his arms sticking out from a card board box and moving about and talking.....
Here a remake that is quite true to the original to illustrate. (original picture of Staffan and hes "sockdolls" in the intro.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qrYnsF1-PM

Ps. The guy who made this remake are probably suffering from the post dramatic stress disorder from watching the original show and has made this remake in a therapy treatment purpose  ;D

Here's my Fuzz prototype. It's based around the bazz fuss idea, it has a volume and a tone knob and true bypass, 9V in the back.
I spent a lot of time finding the right combination of components that sounded right for this project and I think it came out nice.

The finish still looks nice in this picture, but the pedal looks pretty beat up by now with the paint flaking off, I
didn't sand or prime before spraying it black and thus it kind of failed.. It looks vintage already even thou I made this in august...  :icon_neutral:

Sound sample*:
http://rapidshare.com/files/242399754/JesseJ_-_Bazz_Fuss_II__pre-tone__normal_mode__LP_P-90_.mp3

*= The sound sample was made when the circuit was still on the breadboard, so some things were changed around and the prototype pictured
sounds a bit more open than the sound sample, I think. I am using a Roland JC-120 amp and a '56 Les Paul with P-90 pickups in the demo.
There's a switch between the knobs that let's one select between fat/normal modes, just switching between 10uF and 100uF caps,  10uF for rhythm and
100uF for creamy lead sounds. I think the sound sample has a 47uF cap, so the sound is "somewhere in between" in the clip.
