The Muff graphic is hilarious. I'm usually kind of over the whole joke about muffs/pickles/rusty trombones, etc. But I like what you did there. It's like an all-seeing eye of God+painful fire+the light at the end of the tunnel. All very appropriate metaphors!

I was always confused about the meaning of the word and, after reading this http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=muff,  my confusion is total...  I like your interpretation!!

Finally got my pedalboard switching unit done. Switching is done using a microcontroller, which switches JFETs on and off to bring the pedal in or out of the signal path It also switches amp functions (channel switching and volume boost). I managed to get the switching almost completely silent - there's a little thump when I switch things in and out, but it gets gated out by the noise gate at the end of the chain.  There's also some noise when I switch channels or use the volume boost, but things are way better then my last setup.
The volume pedal is in fact a stereo pan pedal which fades between my electric pickups and piezo bridge pickup (for acoustic sound). The electric stuff goes to the stomp boxes, while the acoustic goes to a transformer balanced XLR out to the PA.

You seem to have a phaser-star trek theme going there... I remember your spock one!

Yeah I do don't I? Phasers and Star Trek are inexplicably linked in my head. I already have the graphic for my next (Ross Ropez with 8 swept stages and 8 fixed stages) phaser planned. Can you guess what it will be?

Does it? Hmmm, thanks! :) The G106 box probably is bit sturdier than 1590B - but main reasor for more "sophisticated" walls profile and interior (which gave me few hard moments) and other diferencies (including bigger price btw.) IMO is, that G106 is waterproof.. We've chosen it only because it was much easier to get here.. :) Cheers, T.

I like those holes that go the whole way through--since I have a wooden pedalboard, I could ignore velco altogether--just run a couple screws through those holes :-)

That looks like some of the industrial enclosures I used to build control units into--that's an awesome enclosure.

Yep, it's a cool feature from this point of view :)

My biggest issue were those inner "PCB-screws-here" stands in corners - I had to drill them out in upper part to fit potentiometers into acceptable area.

And one could have trouble with small inner height, e.g. fitting 9V battery there would be almost impossible, because it would fit there only lying on it's wider side wasting lot of space..

Ah--true--those would be a pain to hog out of there. Either way, well done!
