Granted this is not a stompbox but it's not a very big amp.  And I figured you guys might be interested anyway.  Fender Champ (AA764) clone.



Guts - (somewhat surprisingly) it worked straight up.  I understand why PCBs came along though...


And I finally finished off a headshell for it this week.  Made from Tasmanian Myrtle with Celery Top Pine inserts in the front panel and finished with 3 coats of Danish Oil.  Dovetails are cut by hand, but if I ever do another one I will invest in a jig for sure.

Here is one of my favorite builds to date- PWM by Tim Escobedo. Another super nice pcb from John Lyons. I love using this pedal, such a simple circuit, extreme, but also controllable and expressive

I sanded the enclosure face to match the sand lines in the knobs (they come that way). Unfortunately the knob aluminum is a slightly different color than the enclosure aluminum- in the photo- but in real life this is less apparent.

Q- How do you get the board so perfectly cut, do you use some kind of router? I use a saw and file and my PCM:s dont look that good.

It is a 1 sec looper/sampler/stutter/glitch pitch shifting pedal.
The LED daughterboard is attached to the pots using 9 vias:

Thanks. The leds are indicating one of the 8 working modes, like +/-1octave, reverse play etc...

I leave about 2-3mm more space around the edges before etching. Then, after etching i'm cutting the board using Dremel and a small cut off wheel.

8 Output 9V PSU built into a relay box (has nice mounting flaps). Homemade 9 isolated winding transformer.

Finally finished my first synth module, same utilitarian styling as my pedals  
It's a ghetto version of the famous ENS-76 VCO if anyone's into that sort of thing.
I know it's not a stompbox, but in my defence when it's finished you will be able to play guitar through it
