I love this.

What kind of finish is it? Is it really just waterslide on black?

Well, I originally painted the enclosure black with this grand idea of laying a black background decal on transparency over it. I realised how stupid i'd been as soon as I printed it.....the blue and purple areas where so dark!! (from the black underneath). I ended up masking off the edges of the enclosure and giving the top a few coats of white. The decal is black, purple and blue printed on sticky backed transparency..stuck over the white.

Just wish I'd used some washers so the screws/nut didn't chew up the decal  ::)

Oh and thanks, by the way. Glad you like it!  :)

Just wondering, maybe someone can chime in. Do they make transparency film with a clear adhesive backing?

Also if your image is 2 colors, consider the thin 0.007" ID-Mark adhesive Photopolymer Resist Coated Aluminum & Polyester panels used a lot for professional instrumentation labeling and signs. I've had success with that.

Yes, I have some here somewhere. I think it is made by Avery. The only drawback is it is not too transparent. Kind of milky. And it doesn't adhere super well. Kind of has small air pockets where there are any imperfections in the fixing surface. There must be other manufacturers. You want the thinnest stuff you can find I would imagine but I still swear by this

It is a bit difficult but is the most professional looking results aside from screen printing I have seen.

Wow that looks nice. Do you have to clear coat it afterwards and have you had any problems with anything pulling off when you remove the clear dry transfer film? Does it require a Laser printer so I can't use an Inkjet? I just found these are the color films they offer:

There are about 6 or so colors plus chrome, silver hologram and gold hologram. Black is done by just transferring the toner without adding a color. There is a way to do white too. There are lots of ways to screw this up so I recommend checking out some tutorials and getting the right laminator. The toner transfer paper is able to be used to make pcb boards too. Here are some of my results:

I do clear coat the boxes after applying the graphics. The stuff sticks good but you can scratch it off it is unprotected.
The orange pedal is actually silver hologram but looks gray in the picture.
You do have to use a laser printer or a regular photocopier.

I really like the tube drive pedal. What do you use for the chrome bar that protects the tube? Where do you get one?

Hi Lacky,
I had to get the u bolts custom made. What a goose chase that was but I do have them to sell or trade. Do you still have a line on all those transistors? We can make a swap.  I paid .80 cents each so if this sounds good let me know.

I have bins and bins of transistors. I still have not had the time to catalog any of them. Any in particular that you are looking for? PM me with a list and I will look when I have some time.

Looks like one of the Pete Cornish boards. Are you doing all buffered switching or true bypass? Do you lug it around to gigs? Let us know what you have hidden in there! ???

It's a madbean (pseudo-two-channel) chunk chunk. Thanks to Bean (and Rick for the 2vol&2gain-diagram).

Hi! yes it's a Pete Cornish board, i've been inspired by this forum, so i decided to make my own. I've choosen to make all "true bypass" switch and these are the effects:
dynacomp
red fuzz
big muff
fuzz face (BC108) (as you can se.. I love fuzzy sound!!)
Rat
CE-2
Electric Mistress (yes, I'm one of the last lucky guys that own a SAD1024 :D)
Phase90
and a Korg DT-10.

All the effects (exept the korg obviously) are self-made.. I love that pedalboard :D

This is the first time that I post pictures of my builds in this forum. I used layouts from GGG for both of them.

Great!! Finally it's finished!! :)
Does the light behind the tube work?
A long way is the sum of small steps.
