+ Thumbs Up!

Is that label a decal or silkscreened on? Looks nice.

Thanks Steve, Its a decal without any lacquer over the top to keep it mat........really need to make some small silk screen frames though, only have A1 size screens in the studio, and thats just a little to big for a pedal!
Why not use a matte clear coat?  ???
Simple, I don't have any matt clear coat.......and to tell the truth I have been put off the stuff by Plasti-kote Krystal Clear, that was more crystal the matt.

Everytime I see your etches, it makes me feel totally etch-inadequate!  :icon_redface:

Extremely detailed and exceptional work Slade!  :o

Absolutely gorgeous John!  :o

You are to wood enclosures what Slade is to etching. I really dig your wood box creations.

How did you attach the battery clip for the 9V? Was it glued in?

This is a Germanium Fuzz Face with a Fatness pot to control the low end and how bassie the sound can be, and a Face/Bee switch that adds a Pre-Gain stage to the circuit (kinda like a Tonebender). I used AC128 and 2N404 trannies. It sounds killer, I just love it. I'll have a video demo soon to show you.

Fernando.-

it's like the boob effect... i just want to put it in my mouth for some reason....  :icon_eek:

This one is based on a Tremulator project I've been working on. Sounds pretty amazing, which I can only attribute to the tiny LED in there.

Screwed in actually, the wood top is thick.

Nice build there Bean! I like the plate/ color and knobs

Bean what did you use to attach the plate?

You mean besides the two screws?   ;D

Barcode80

well i didn't see a slot in the one on the right, didn't know if it was rivets or something.

bean

Yeah, I was a little overly snarky there. It's funny how the light plays off that second screw...makes the slot disappear.

Anyway, I bought those tiny screws and nuts a while back at Frys....I think a 30 pack cost $2.

That enclosure does look pretty! Ruined by the awful knobs, but that green sparkles nicely! Also, great spot for a pic, in that cool old tree.

Jacob

What's so awful about those knobs?

@ Pigboy:

really nice, but the knob should have a marking in my opinion. Otherwise Min and Max markings are not making sense...

On mine? I drilled the pot holes, and then put in the stop switch..thinking I'd have enough space to put the 1/4" jacks on the sides...not enough room, so I put them out the front instead...oh well...
