DidiStulle,

Those of us who are not Musikding members can't see your photos. Could you upload them somewhere else, like imageshack or similar?

Welcome to the forum. :)

Hey all!  been doing this for a while but never posted.  Here's a looper i made for a good friend/bandmate going through a tough time.  it was a surprise and he was so pumped on it.  the name comes from the movie "wedding crashers" and seeing as everyone in the band including the guy i made this for is from the north shore of Boston the name fits!  ;)

Cheers!

Thanks guys!  ;D

I figured that it would probably be a bit hard to get a snake eat my enclosure ... so i went with the afformentioned fake snakeskin tutorial by dcountry13 over at byoc.

starting with:
1. two layers prime coat
2. two layers black color (synthetic resin lacquer)
3. putting the fishnet stockings over enclosure and bottom plate (boy that was a bit of a kerfuffle, since my girlfriend had these still on) and fixing them with tape on the inside/downside
4. two layers vermillion (synthetic resin lacquer)
5. only fractional sprayed silver and bronze (synthetic lacquer)
6. darker red than the above (acrylic)
7. some "happy accident" black sparkles (acrylic)

several hours of drying inbetween each step
That's all

@John: How did you fix and first of all tighten your snakeskin? Did you use a wooden enclosure and stapled it inside?

It's a wood enclosure. I used glue to affix the skin, just like
tolex amp covering etc. I've done it with a metal enclosure as well.

It just looks as if a snake ate it and then you put the knobs on. Very nice work there.

You squeezed it into a 1590A - you insane fool!  :icon_mrgreen:

Well this... this is just silly... this can't fit in a 1590B... can it? And you're not even using SMD you mad man!

I'm sure that's exactly what he does...
Then he just cut the neck and the tail of those poor snakes and he makes snake soup.
That's why we don't see the "guts"...
there are really some ugly snake guts and circuits inside that box...

"glued skin"... pff...

And he also uses little children for the hard work...

Nice build Galego, sounds very good!

Funny tho, I can't think of a single song with a ring modulator on it  :icon_eek:

You need to listen to more Jeff Beck.

For someone who hates my green RINGER ( which is really part ring modulator) so much, you sure seem to be pushing the ring mod thing. :)
