QuotePM me if you want one.

QuoteI smell a 10% up there...

I read it like that first time, second time it sounded like a generous offer to Slade and Rick. I guess Chris will clarify when he pops by.

Just a basic crappy iPhone clip of the pedal, gives you an idea at least how it sounds and how powerful the 3 band active EQ is.

Cheers, but I can't take credit for anything but the build and the shoddy guitar playing. It's not my design, it's a Toneczar OpenHaus. By far the most demanding build I have ever done.

deadastronaut

yeah looked like a monster vero... :icon_wink:

GGG 6-Band EQ

Sorry, tasos, but I already took it out and put it away to make room for the next circuit. It's going to be a part of a big effect I'm working on.

When I first built the effect, it didn't work. After a little research, I found this post:
http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=69194.0
I used the mods suggested by Dave Simpson and it worked great. I tested it by taping down all 6 C's on my DX-21 with a voice that doesn't decay. With each of the 6 bands I could boost/cut each octave pretty clearly. I had the gain pretty much maxed for unity gain. I didn't seem to have the noise problem that others have had.

This was a particularly important circuit for me because my axe responds differently to most of the different effects.

Skruffyhound

@Mat. Looking forward to read/hear how you get on, I play that kind of axe too (badly).

@Slade. I wasn't really expecting to see the Chilean heavy mob rocking up to Chris's front door in Denia.

mkIII tonebender/soulbender from GGG schematic with mods to input and tone caps, also with 'fat/bass' low pass filter switch and polished enclosure. Thanks to JD Sleep for schematic and slacker for vero layout.

My Line6 JM4 looper (for sale), a super phaser I'm modding for a mate, mkIII tonebender, fuzz face clone (byoc), Boss deluxe reverb COSM, crybaby classic, stratoblaster/rangemaster (cant remember) and a cigar box stompbox

Anyone suggest any good diy pedals for my next project? I'm thinking either an octave or a delay?
