Almost embarrassed to show my stuff here nowadays, the bar is so high.....

Hey Rick,
Man, without you a lot of this would not exist. And to you alone I can say in the  immortal words of Butthead.
'You can't polish a turd'
It is all between the lines.
And you'll have to admit, I'll be rich as shit
I'll just sit and grin, the money will roll right in....

Hey Rick, whats this warm and hot business?  Cutting the 1.25V for the heaters down?  What kind of effect does that have?  Very interesting.  Also does the triode/pentode switch just enable the other grids and result in more gain or overhead, or what kind of audible effect?  This pedal is very awesome, I think it needs some explaining.

If you check out the schematic, it has to do with the booster in front of the tube. The "Hot" option adds a second MOSFET if I remember correctly...

Wouldn't happen to have a link for it would you?  Google and forum search turned up zip.

There's also a whole thread of Rick's tube schems in the "Schematics" section of the forum, under "Tubes"  ;)
Gotta get my hands on some of these subminis!

That's exactly what I fear, though I might try it out, easy enough to sub for another circuit should it tick.

Could you provide any link to the tutorial ? Sounds interesting, plus i'd like to see this in action  :icon_razz:

Woah, that's an impressive amount of work on one pot ! I guess it's worth it when playing on dark stages.

That little submini tube amp looks great Rick!  :)
Is it a modded firefly?

Ah yes, I didn't make the connection between the Thermionique and this pedal.  Bloody french.

Looks like a nice thing, I think I'll be adding it to my list of things to prototype.  I've now got 3 of Rick's submini projects on my list of things to do.

Hello together,
wow, awesome builds the last time  8)

Nothing new from me, I only soldered two new wires in my Tone Bender MKI,
(the two wires from the jacks to the switch were normal wires).
Now they are shielded ones like the two from the pcb to the switch too - this is how it has to be ;)

Then I made two new pictures (the old gutshot was bad quality, not sharp enough)...

I am happy with the results of my camera :)

Here is the galery with the other pics of my MKI:
