First Angel etch attempt. I missed a few spots with the nail enamel and got some little unwanted pits.

hi at all from spain.

Hey Dr. Maligno,
Great work. Did you form the cage for your little amp? I like it. Where in Spain are you? I am over in Denia.

zagal, si yo soy de Murcia, estamos casi al lado.

Sorry for native speaking at all.

Hi
Some times things take a little longer than you expected. This project was meant for the 666 competition. But a slow delivery of the small pot's crashed that plan. But better late then never. So here folks, meet The "Boogie Man" Its, as you might suspect a Dr. Boogie only in a slight smaller costume than you usually find him.

The paper decals is to be changed for water slides soon.

whats the deal with the ram led!..clear epoxy?.......magic!.......supernatural?......radioactive?..... ;)

Hey, it's a kind of magic   (see who remembers this quote ...)

It's just some clear epoxy with one layer of white spraypaint to make sure the decal looks good.

Rick, you're becoming an etch master! Just don't let those LEDs protrude that much, it would look better if you made them just peek.

@ShortScaleMike - Where do you get those lower profile dual ganged 100KB pots for the Klon(e) from? I'm trying to source one and can seem to find much.

Beautiful, Rick. I'm guessing you etched, sprayed one color, sanded, masked. sprayed 2nd color, sanded and clearcoated? If not, I'd love to learn your technique. I haven't etched an enclosure yet, but would like to.
It's all about the tone!

The paintwork was quite difficult, first i tried masking and spraying, masking and spraying, but found that I got bleed under the tape, so I ended up stripping it and just using cotton buds to drip paint into the etched areas - much more control and no masking needed if you have a steady hand. Then hand sanded under water.
