OMG you're right! So it's real and not a photoshop job. Unless he photoshopped in the dust just to fool us.  :icon_eek:

Haha, I saw that too after posting the picture and opened it back up to see what it was. When I went on my concrete porch and must have gotten something from it on my finger tips and touched that corner 2C1849 when I was trying to get a macro shot.

This is a bass fuzz (bazz fuss?) in a DIY slanted 1590A sized enclosure.  Made from an old desk drawer....

I also prefer spending time making stuff rather than staining my deck..........

Perhaps the greatest album that came out of the 90's. Along with What's the Story Morning Glory, Sixteen Stone, and Vs.

Here is my latest build, my take on a reverse engineered clone of the 1976-1977 era MXR Dyna Comp. Custom PCB layout designed in ExpressPCB and graphics made with GIMP. Special thanks to Rick (Frequency Central) and Pete (Scruffie) for their CA3080 donation offers that helped make this project possible! I'll build one more copy to serve as a spare backup using the other CA3080. I've never used a compressor effect before so this is all new to me!

Hello Steve !!

This is Hot Tubes from the Marshall amp Forum !!

Super sweet work as always !!    Awsome in fact !!

That's amazingly spooky! It's even the same picture of the moon - just inverted. great minds thinking alike there...
Lol! Indeed :)

Phhhhew, well heres the reason i havnt built anything for the last six months and its finally finished. Built and designed a buffered bypass unit for my dissertation im calling the 'integrated transport system'  ;)

-tuner/mute option
-master bypass
-buffered in and out (courtesy of jack ormans AMZ super buffer)
-A/B input
-flip function on loops 1+2 for wah vs fuzz position comparisons
-a 'patchable' 3rd buffer for placing in-between each loop if sending signal to an effects loop/over long distances.
-A 'preset' footswitch which turns on the selected loops (DIP switch on the back) with one switch and turns the current loops off (hence the use of relays)
-Hand bent case made of 2mm alu and powder coated.

The whole point is to eliminate tone sucking, the effects of long transmission lines and make my setup more flexible.

(sorry for the amount of pictures....but you guys want gutshots right?)

Some Dc is loose in there somewhere which is casing the switches to pop, but thats a bug im working on.

Impressive, Kneale!

Nice. You could always add a uC in there and turn it into an 8-preset looper.
